We loved the location, that was the main thing for us it was close to all the activities yet it wasn't to busy with tourists. Our room was really nice it had stunning views of the city and was cleaned so fast (within minutes). Although the location and room was nice the star of the show was the dinner we had at there restaurant was so delicious it brought our taste buds to life, you have to try the desserts so yummy! The restaurant was also really beautiful with lovely views at sunset!

We loved our stay here but the breakfast could have been more varied as it was mainly eggs ,however, it was quick service, and if you were still hungry after you could have delicious fresh fruit from the markets near by!

Location was perfect!

The only thing is our door would not close and lock, it was a magnetic issue, I talked to night staff he wouldn’t give us a because he said he couldn’t. So we had to put our suitcases in front of our door to keep it closed, it wouldn’t lock. We always felt totally safe, that wasn’t an issue. In the morning, I mentioned to the reception lady, she was lovely and quickly dealt with the situation. I told her about the gentleman working last night and he wouldn’t give us a key. She immediately found the key, spoke to the owner and gave us the key immediately. She was awesome and very professional and helpful.

The location in the old town is perfect. The hotel is quite luxurious especially the restaurant, the decor, food and service exceptional.

Our room 101 I think is the smallest of the rooms compared to photos of other rooms. We had 2 medium suitcases 1 had to be opened in the bathroom as there wasn’t the room, possibly removing the 2 single chairs at the end of the bed would help provide additional space. It did feel cramped. Decor was artistic and interesting but for the price paid we were disappointed with the size of this room. Staff were helpful however, we arrived in torrential rain soaking wet and tried to get us settled as soon as possible.

The room was excellent: full of character, spacious, quiet, comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. We didn't use the bath but it was large and looked fine. The coffee machine and kitchen facilities in the room were excellent. The location was excellent, very close the Main Street in the Old Town: only one flight of steps to it (at Pile Gate end) in a town where it could have been many more! The staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were prompt and thorough.

The breakfasts were adequate but could have been larger and more nutritious. The attempt to make them Michelin style meant they were smaller then usual. One cup of coffee and one juice per person seemed a bit petty.

The location was excellent. Each room was an artist style and ours was so creative and special. Large with a corner window looking over the street below. Quiet because we had windows closed for air -would have been louder if we had it open in fall, I imagine. We didn't have breakfast here - don't think it was included - but we left too early. We ate dinner at their amazing roof top restaurant which was reasonably priced and had a very creative menu. The bed was comfortable. The shower small. Lovely antiques. Front office staff, Mateo, was exceptionally helpful with holding bags, getting us in a bit early, and providing beach towels, too!

In the style of our artist's room there was a surprising large Mother Mary statue behind the door in the nook - I am not sure about that piece overlooking our bed (ha!). Otherwise, it was an exceptional treat.

Very central, clean and easy to reach. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bathrooms had all necessities available.

Unfortunately we made a last minute booking so we got the first room on the first floor. For refference, the reception is on the ground floor and ther is an open staircase to reach the elevator on the 1st floor, which meant that anyone wanting to go to their room had to pass our door which was’t that well insulated.

Location was great...breakfast was very good, dinner was excellent and staff was wonderful!

We were not able to have dinner on rooftop due to rain but 3rd floor dinning was a wonderful second best..

The Hotel is gorgeous, right on the beautiful street with a buzzy vibe, but not too noisy in April. Staff are Amazing! We had such a great time!

One of the oldest houses in the old town of Dubrovnik, beautifully restored and updated with interesting contemporary art. The restaurant attached to the restaurant provided excellent, fresh and local food. Helpful and accommodating staff.

This is not a criticism of the hotel, but a note to think about if you plan on staying here: the hotel is in the old town so cars and taxis cannot go in. It is not very far from one of the main gates of the city (Pile gate is the more convenient of the two) but there is a long ramp and some steps (six steps if you go up the first alley to you left after the church, many more steps if you are on another alley. Take the first alley.) and there is no porter service. So it would not be very suitable with anyone worried about taking their own luggage.

Location in old town, near Pile Gate and quite accessible through the old town; good directions beforehand to the property (note shuttle bus from airport no longer goes to Pile Gate; only Ploce Gate); good information upon arrival.

Accessibility within property - a few uneven steps after reception, followed by a long staircase up to floor 1, where the elevator is located; erratic internet and electricity access; room small but adequate.
