The terrace was very nice. Location was great. It was very quiet and comfortable.

We were hot and it didn't seem like the AC worked (maybe it was too cool outside) so we slept with the terrace doors open. Not a big issue- I love to sleep with windows open- but a little strange, and would not have done it if I had been alone, because all of the terraces were connected. Also, we were scolded for sharing a menu del dia because we are not used to eating such a big lunch. The 1/2 portions were perfect for us, and in the US it is always perfectly fine to share dishes if you are not hungry enough for a big one, so we were dismayed to be scolded about it as we left.

The hotel was easy to access, well located, spacious and clean.

The breakfast experience was bad. There was 1 coffee machine and a long queue, the coffee machine stopped working several times. The female waiter, I guess the head waiter, she was bossing around the others, was very stressed and very rude. She told me off when I asked about the yogurt, then rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen to fetch more yogurt. Same thing happened when i asked for croissants, she relactantly fetched them after giving me a bad eye. Then there were no small spoons, yogurt plates...she was constantly raising her voice and visibly upset. Then she threw fresh oranges into the juice maker basket and almost hit a guest with one of the oranges that bounced out of the basket. I have never seen anything like this anywhere.....not a good experience.

Pre-registered online and the only thing asked from me was a credit card. Reception staff was professional, welcoming and cordial. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. Likewise with the bathroom. Property was clean, modern and had a really nice curb appeal. Parking was available at the premises. There were two parking lots - one outside and one under the hotel. Parked under the hotel and thank goodness because the weather turned really hot! City center was a downhill walk from the hotel which made it an easy walk. However, it meant that going back you had an uphill hike. On a hot day, that could be a bit tiring, even arduous. Hotel had an on-site restaurant that was open 24/7. Breakfast was pretty decent but standard. Restaurant and hotel staff were professional, responsive and very helpful. Restaurant food was also pretty decent and inexpensive. Almost everyone spoke English.

Because it was a hot day, we were disappointed we could not lower the room temperature to a more desirable level. The room was really warm and the bathroom was like a sauna. There was no coffee maker or complimentary water bottles in the room. The hotel was located on a hilltop and a bit of a hike from the restaurants located near the cathedral and main plaza. On-site restaurant could use some tweaking on ambiance - it felt like eating in a cafeteria with the bright lights. I guess that’s a good thing since you can see what you are eating.

Room located on ground floor with lovely private terrace and enclosed lawn area so we could enjoy an evening drink in the sunshine. Great breakfast which was excellent value for money. Convenient garage parking at 9 euros a night which was a reasonable price. Close enough to the city center to enjoy an easy level walk to restaurants and all the attractions. Great walk up to the castle behind the hotel via a well paved pathway. We do hope the castle gets restored to it's former glory - lots of history here as with the monument outside the hotel to General Juan Martin Diez - the city needs to make more of both of these important historical attractions.

Nothing - we really enjoyed our visit and will return!

The staff, in particular Felix - Mari Luz - Mari Carmen, is extremely helpful and very friendly. They give an extra positive vibe to your stay. And they are there with a genuine smile … These kind of people make all the difference in your stay! The parking garage of the hotel is a very welcome bonus. Burgos in holiday season can be a challenge when it comes to parking spaces. The gym, spa and swimming pool are nice features that complete the list perfectly.

I understand the pets policy of the hotel (and I can even comprehend the idealism behind it) but an extra charge of 30 euro per night per pet isn’t in alignment with today’s worldly reality. It took quiet some time to bring the room on temperature leading to suspect that the heating system isn’t powerful enough on winter days.

Breakfast not cheap for what you get but good. Bed and room where honestly what you want in this type of case: Quiet and clean with good A/C The best thing about this hotel is certainly the location: Close to the main sites and yet a little bit away from the

Parking covered expensive and parking not covered too hot. A usefully change would be for the hotel to put some type of coverage for the open parking. This would make the difference. Breakfast a little expensive.

Superb central location. Excellent covered parking but 21E for locked city centre parking seems about right to me these days. I was apprehensive about the previous adverse comments about parking accessibility. Getting into the carpark in our large SUV was dead easy. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the cathedral, a myriad of restaurants and tapas bars, and some beautiful treelined streets that are virtually all pedestrian only. A few tourist buses, but no cruise liners (of course). This is how city visiting should be. Well done Abba. Well done Burgos

Tes restaurants sometimes didnt ooen till we were thinking about going to bed!

The staff, service, food. cleanliness and comfort of this hotel are all first class and coupled with that the location means that you are only a few minutes from the stunning cathedral which lies at the heart of this wonderful town. As I was driving the bonus is an excellent car park within the hotel grounds and a view of the cathedral spires late at night as they are illuminated .

The evening meal menu was a little lacking in choice, however, the meals that we had were delicious.

The hotel was v central and in a quiet location. We had a comfort room which was spotless, comfortable beds and a big bathroom. The reception staff were most helpful and courteous with a big smile. There is an indoor pool which we didn’t use and a nice restaurant serving a good breakfast etc. We only stayed one night as travelling but would have no hesitation in rebooking for another time. Very good value for peak season.

To enjoy drinks outside in warm weather we found the designated area very small at the front/side of the hotel. Not particularly attractive either. Also the service was poor as only one member of staff was on duty and he had to cover the bar inside as well as requests outside.

I liked the breakfast and the room. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast had a great variety. The location of the hotel is also very good.

I did not enjoy the spa, the sauna is really small and the pool was not warm and not as nice as I imgined it when seeing the pictures. I also did not like the size of the hotel, from the pictures, I could not imagine how big it is, which makes it less cozy.
