I did not purchase the breakfast so I cannot speak of it. My room was on the ground floor very close to the pool, and it was large roomy brighten the daytime dark in the nighttime. It was just perfect. The cleaning staff was incredible, I told him not to change the beds, just swap out dirty, clean towels, and they did exactly what I asked. Even gave me a few extra towels.

That breakfast was an extra charge.

The pillows on the bed were quite comfortable. And the room itself was very spacious ..

Not that we are ment to stay in and watch TV all day but the Television in the room sucks !! They definitely need to be updated to larger and more modern versions. Second and only minor complaint is the shower heads .. 90% of all hotel shower heads suck .. These are part of that 90%

Our family enjoyed our hotel stay for the comfort, location & value. This was our 5th time there!

To have my $50.00 incidental deposit refunded ASAP as my bank card was charged twice for this. Once for $26.36, including the $50.00 incidental deposit for a combined total of $76.36 & then again for $50.00 separately. Thank you!

The fro y desk was under staff. We waited an hour to see the reception to request clean towels. They said they will bring in 30 minutes. Those 30 minutes turned into next day and still no clean towels. They never answered the phone line, even though they said they always do.

Clean and all you would expect from a good hotel chain of their caliber, particularly in a sports-based town where many hotels cater more towards kids who abuse the property.

Fairly costly for a Holiday Inn, particularly with no lake view.

Hotel able to accommodate us for an earlier check in. Staff Friendly, bar in the evening friendly, easy walking distance to the shops/town.

Our room was right next to the elevator which we thought might be noisy, but no very quiet all evening. There was a sign posted in the elevator to respect quiet from 9 pm to 9 am so that was great. Would like a later check out, however all hotels seem to use 11 am time frame. Front desk advised that you at Booking.com need to give us our check out receipt. Still havent received anything from you??? So don't like that about YOUR company, not Holliday Inn???

We decided to not eat breakfast and used our payed breakfast coupons because they have only one waitress serving there and there is a long waiting time for lot of gusts . people usually go there for skiing and it starts early morning at 9 and they cannot wait for a long time for breakfast. I recommend do not buy and plan to have breakfast there.

The room was clean and pretty spacious. We had a view of the pool. The heater worked very well. The breakfast was amazing!!! The location was perfect walking to the restaurants and shops and 5 min away from the summit.

The elevator was too small.

This was our second stay at The Lodge at Big Bear Lake. We really really like this hotel. It's right there at the Village. It's quiet, dog friendly (yet you wouldn't know that there are dogs staying in the hotel, they are so quiet at night!). We stayed in the King Superior Family Room, on the third floor. Room is huge, great for a family & dogs. Nice size refrig, large closet with plenty of hangars, a bathroom vanity with double sinks, two easy chairs, very comfortable. This hotel offers live entertainment-fabulous with a drink/meal to relax with after a day of skiing. We used the jacuzzi one night-large enough to social distance in, staff was friendly, we will definitely stay again.

The carpet in the room is really stained. Some of the furniture is looking worn. Other than that-nothing.

We usually stay at Holiday Inns. Some are a lot nicer than other. This one was a B. Probably clean and we always love the pillows. It would have been nice to have two chairs. The balcony/patio area was an unexpected treat.

There were nests of swallows up in the rafters just outside the entrance that we used. I wouldn't want them removed, but a little bit of a roof for protection would have been nice. Also, our car was bombed many times. There wasn't anything specifically wrong, just a shabby feeling to the room.
