Beautiful!perfect location comfortable def will stay again

This resort is maintained well, the rooms are pleasant, and the staff is friendly and courteous. The property is located at the northern end of Beach Ave., so pedestrian and vehicular traffic is not overwhelming. It is also quiet, peaceful, and the guest who stay at this resort are respectful of fellow guest's expectation of quiet enjoyment!

The only minor drawback, in one respect, is the location, as it is necessary to drive to central Cape May for the restaurants, and shopping.

the room with little kitchenette was rather small but due to nice decoration and layout still cozy. I liked it best that there were a great set of body care products as guest give aways! Closeness to beach was perfect!!

unfortunately there was a constant loud machine noise of air conditioning /heating system heard on balcony and in room even if air condition system was turned off. Bad smell when heating was turned on in room. maybe hotel staff should clean these A\C devices

The rooms were cleaned daily, and the staff was very nice ., close to the beach, which they wheeled over chairs and umbrella to the beach for you .a small nice pool .We had a nice corner room and nice windows and a nice baloney to sit out on , watch the sunsets every night our stay for our room was on back side .It was quaint and quiet .

No smart tvs .and the coffee in the lobby was awful (take your own k cups, no regular coffee pots in the room, need k cups to use they give you k cups but we didn't care for the taste of the coffee. There is not enough parking in the parking garage , but we were able to park close by on the street .would have liked ocean view , which I put in my booking when I booked our stay .

Wonderful boutique hotel. The updated and comfortable room exceeded our expectations. The price was below many other hotels in the area and was a great value considering the nice room and proximity to the beach-directly across the street! Loved that chairs, umbrella AND set up were included in the price. The only negative was that is was a longer walk to Washington Street Mall then we would have preferred BUT the hotel provided shuttle service so that wasn’t even a real problem. We would definitely stay here again! We have told many people how nice our stay was here.

Honestly nothing! If the location was a little closer to Washington Street Mall this would be a 10/10

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly every time we saw them. Went above and beyond to drop off a birthday gift for my husbands birthday. So sweet! Beautiful views. Nice location. Very quiet- didn’t hear noise through the walls like at many hotels. Shuttle service was also a nice amenity!

The chairs on the deck need to be more comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony looking at the ocean. The chairs were clean and fine, but something a bit cushioned would have been great. Rooms are starting to show a little wear and tear. Caulking around shower doors, etc. Coffee in room- would be nice to have some real creamers in the fridge and extra sugar. Very little supplied.

Hotel was very clean and pretty. Appreciated the daily maid service. The helpful employees were friendly. Loved the shuttle and golf cart service. Loved the chair and umbrella beach service. Closeness to beach was great. Pool although small was still very clean and fun for the family. Fresh coffee every morning was appreciated.

Would be nice if bike rental was available at the hotel. Wicker table in room was easily tipped because of middle support.

Staff, location, shuttle, beach service, & room. We have a 3 year old and stayed in a standard double queen room. It worked well enough for us. Our son loved the shuttle! The black sprinter was the way to go. There was umbrella, chair, & towel service that was walked from the hotel to the beach by staff. There is also an outdoor place to wash off sand next to the hotel entrance. The beach location has a public restroom & there is a restroom at the pool & lobby level (2d fL). Amenities are included so helpful to have cash to tip, staff worked hard and did an excellent job, everyone from front desk to housekeeping. Also parking is not bad, there are only so many spots in the garage but, people park & then use the shuttle so cars stay put. There is free street parking behind the hotel and then some metered parking on the side streets. The back street was pretty quiet & finding a spot was easy & even getting help with bags from the street was possible.

It is expensive but, we got what we paid for and would def stay again. Icona’s beach had a jetty and to swim you had to go to the right a bit. The beach is also a steeper incline as you reach the water. Diamond beach location is the nicest beach, flat and open but, location is more isolated.

Clean, modern, good location, easy to find

It is right next door to a very large hotel with balconies facing our room. Our hotel had Roman shades, no sure if those sitting on balconies next door could see in or not. Possibly our hotel had one way glass. I never checked because it was off season and there were not many people around.

The best part of the hotel is that it was close to the beach and the staff set you up with chairs and an umbrella from the hotel which was a huge perk. Tarik, who helped us on 2 of the days, was a sweetheart. Also appreciated that they had a shuttle that would take you wherever you wanted to go. It was about a 20min walk to the shops so that was a nice option. The room was large, bright, and very modern and had a nice efficiency set-up. Also enjoyed our balcony even though we only had a partial view of the beach from our room.

The pool area was a bit tiny so it would get crowded quickly. Also thought the 2 women working the front desk in the morning were less than friendly. The other front desk staff that came in later in the day were far more bubbly and helpful.
