All the staff were lovely and super friendly! It was also a really good distance from Arouca (lots of great and interesting things to do there), some great restaurants and cafes for breakfast (Rainha), a massive shopping centre (8a Avenida) and Porto. The room and bathroom were both lovely and clean and a great size! Also only a short walk to McDonald's which was handy.

We travelled for a Christening and as I grew up in São João I knew it'd be a perfect location to be close to family and Porto etc but in São João itself there is nothing to do. With regards to the room it was quite hot and stuffy especially at night but because it was April they said at that time of year the AC doesn't turn on so that was a bit of a struggle but manageable opening the window. We were also put off the pool it just seemed a little unkept and smelt kind of funky.

It was a wonderful stay, the architecture of the building is realy worth praising, most modern hotels are boring, this one is not! It looks and feels luxurious. Beautiful staircase and night lighting made it look not just modern but kinda futuristic.

The only thing that was disappointing is the pool. I was hoping I could swim a bit after a long Camino walk. If you're excited thinking "pool!" , don't get your hopes too high ::/

Friendly staff and good service, large common areas, plenty of seating. Not far away from City Center, to reach quickly.

In the breakfast room, wear and tear on furniture and equipment. Parking area behind and back side of building a bit unkempt.

Comfortable bed, shower gel and shampoo supplied as travelling g with hand luggage we couldn't bring liquids , will know for next time

The shower curtain , would prefer a screen as the curtain tends to be attracted statically to you body when you shower and move around .Also paper cups for tea or would prefer a mug or a cup

The buildings interior is amazing, lots of glass and light, very spacious rooms, very friendly staff.

We had a standard double bedroom, the carpet had a very strong moulds smell. The toilet brush is disgusting ( room 204).There is no kettle in the room, and I think in a 4 star property it should be provided.

The hotel itself is excellent and exceeded my expectations. The space was clean and well-maintained, offering a pleasant atmosphere. The service was kind and respectful. Overall, a very positive experience.

The room was lovely . The bed was comfortable,everywhere was clean and looked good

The coffee in the room was in sachets that had gone hard as probably been there for a long time and there were paper cups which are not as nice as a proper cup.

BEDS WERE REALLY COMFORTABLE. CLEAN OVER ALL

ONLY THE SECOND ROOM DID NOT HAVE TEA/COFFEE PROVIDED IN THE ROOM MY ROOM THE COFFEE WAS NOTREFILLED. BIT DISAPPOINTING ESPECIALLY AS I HAD A CHILD WITH ME.

The A/C was not working and Room was too warm.

The staff and how helpful they were was the best part of this place! Also everything was awesome and relaxing and clean and comfortable.
