Sampson's Village exceeded my expectations! The owner and staff couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. The location was excellent - the beach was a stone's throw away and everything was within easy walking distance...grocery stores, restaurants, shops, bus stops and tour options. I plan on telling all my family and friends about it. Also, I hope that I am fortunate one day to return. It was a wonderful experience and a great value.

The kitchen could have been better equipped and it would have been nice to have a comfortable reading chair as well as a clock. There were plenty of towels, but no face clothes. All minor inconveniences given how exceptional the place was.

The 20 apartments are all run by a family , so the staff are really keen to make sure you have a good time . The pool is not crowded , the beach, restaurants, supermarkets, bakers , scooter and car hire are all a short walk . The manager can arrange very comfortable airport transfers . The small pool bar is run by an ex chef , who can rustle up a great pizza , and stunning breakfast , plus great cocktails . The pool has a shady area in the morning and the courtyard is shady in the afternoon . The AC and wifi work well and the kitchen area has a hob, and a toasted sandwhich /pannini maker and a fridge with small freezer compartment . There is a shower and wc available if you have a return flight after you need to check out which we took advantage of . You do not need to pack towels, both bath and beach towels are provided .

Samsons village was perfect from start to finish. The rooms are all adequate for a comfortable traditional stay, the pool and communial areas are spotless and so beautiful! The location is perfect with a short walk to bars and beach front and outstanding view of the mountain! The staff are exceptional and go above and beyond! A special mention to “Costa” who runs the food and bar area he treats you like family! Serving amazing food for reasonable prices ! The lovely cleaning girls and manager who works so hard to ensure you have an unforgettable stay! We are already looking to book again next year and cant wait to be back!!

That we couldnt stay longer😩

The hotel is near the beach, a 5 minute walk. It's also near the bust stop and so it was easy for us to go to Fira and from Fira to Oia. There were restaurants and grocery shop nearby as well, very convenient. The staff were so nice and helpful. Allowed us to leave our luggage because our flight back to Athens was at 10pm and we wanted to go to Oia even said we can shower if we want to despite checking out already. The hotel is clean and they also cleaned our room on our next day stay. I guess if you don't want to you can inform them but we didn't make any requests so they did the daily cleaning which we didn't mind- fresh towels are always good. The place itself is beautiful, very Instagrammable. It was quiet most of the time so if you want to just relax and lounge by the pool you can, lots of the guests did this and it was nice. The host was readily available to answer my queries before our stay so that was also helpful. There were 8 of us we had 2 apartments, the one apartment was big and overlooking the pool and we liked that. Overall a great stay and I will book again when I come back to Santorini.

The hotel knew we would arrive before 8am and the reception area opens 8ish and there was no one to meet us althou we were informed we would have one room available already but it would have been nice to have someone there to hand us our keys, coz we looked lost for about 20 mins not until I saw a staff and had to ask him. Also the reception area is not easily visible to guests which was a bit inconvenient. The (shower, faucet) water is salty but I guess that's to be expected if you're a hotel near the beach.

Loved the location best thing about this property. The property is quite old now and defo requires some attention, bathrooms were not great and let the property down we all thought. The apartments do look dated now and defo are in need of modernisation. John and Oscar who work there are fab and helped us massively esp with our car hire to big shout out to them thank you.

Bathrooms in the apartment we all felt let the apartment down, it did smell at times and we all struggled with how dated it was.

Great position.2 minute walk to beach.John on reception was very friendly and helpful.All the staff were friendly.Very quiet at night.Comfortable bed and very clean..Close to restaurants.An exceptional veg/vegan restaurant just around corner and across from beach.Bus stop 5 minute walk.Full size super market and a great patisserie 10 minute walk away.Hotel organised a taxi to pick us up from port at our expense which took a lot of pressure off us.Feel it was a great choice Would definately stay here again.

The kindness and smiles of the host ,very welcoming and caring.john took care right away of the issue we had the first day with the air conditioning not working effectively. The swimming pool time and cleaness and pool bar service amazing, the room size ,the locations right by the beach , great value. Room 30 was wonderful exceeded our expectations. Aircon working well , bathroom big enough for family of 4.

The first room 13 in the first day - had tiny bathroom , air conditioning didn't work effectively.

Samson's village is a small accomodation complex with pool, very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Rooms are smaller size, but I presume that's the architecture in Greece. We stayed there for a week with friends and we had everything we needed. Rooms were cleaned daily, always fresh towels and bedding. Ladies were very polite. And those two guys taking care of all the rest were absolutely perfect. Helpful,polite, caring ......... we got more that we ask. Thanks to them we had a beautiful holiday time. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

Literally a 2 min walk from the beach. 5-7 mins walk from the bus stop. The Bob’s bar station for bus to everywhere in Santorini is just walking distance from the hotel, so this was a super great point for us. Pool is pretty, room is comfortable, washroom is tooo small :/ but ig its value for the money you pay if you get a good deal. Reception manager was SO HELPFUL!!! The room I booked also had a mini pantry with stove & a few other kitchen equipments & cutlery so that was great!

Me and my partner absolutely loved our time at Samsons village and we would strongly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Santorini in fact we already have our friends and family. The location is terrific and just a short minute or two walk from the beach. The staff working on site were super friendly and honestly went above and beyond for us whether it be being served food and drinks to being able to use the room for longer than our stay stated. Never have either of us had better service from any hotel we have visited so we would come back in a heartbeat next time we visit Santorini!
