We booked 2 rooms attached, a Junior Suite/Cottage, lower floor. It was the best location at the resort, and best resort of any vacation I've ever had. The service, rooms, food, and staff were beyond excellent. We brought my disabled 70 year old mother with dementia and she was able to get around the property easily, even with a rolling walker. We had breakfast on the patio every day (They brought us a selection from the buffet and our requested plates), enjoyed the pool, and swam a lot. We really enjoyed the Filipino and American breakfast options a lot. The nearby zipline was a huge plus. The hotel even offered a nanny/companion for my mother when my partner and I spent a few hours on tours. We offered to pay and they provided at no extra charge. We made sure to tip the staff for this because it was unexpected, we wanted to pay, and we truly appreciated that they didn't want to charge for it. My mother really enjoyed the company of the staff. They were kind, friendly, and very capable of assisting as temporary caregivers.

When we checked into our room, we noticed they had just painted the room recently, like within the last day or so. The offgassing smell of oil-based paint was very strong and difficult for me to endure for a few days. It eventually subsided enough that I could handle it but I am very sensitive to strong chemical smells. I knew they didn't have another accommodation exactly like what we booked in this part of the resort, and it had to be painted, so I just ignored it and didn't mention it. The drains caused the bathrooms to smell strongly of sewage constantly, this is unfortunately common in the philippines. They don't use P traps for the plumbing to prevent the gas from coming up the pipes. It was dizzying and nauseating at times. Make sure you leave your bath window open.

The friendly, accommodating, courteous and forever-smiling service staff are the most memorable part of my stay. They were so genuine and sincere every time I interact with them. The food served in the resto were all flavorful and perfect. I super loved the room where I stayed. It was very clean and relaxing. The beach and pool were well maintained. The UR tour and zip line adventure I availed of were also well organized and fun. Eula and Jimmy were both nice and knowledgeable guides.

Items in the menu are too pricey although you can make a special request for extra something without additional charge. Bathroom towels are not regularly replaced unless you request for it. The location is a bit far from the airport (1.5 hr ride).

Daluyon is an outstanding hotel in all my experience with hotels and resorts all over the world. The vibe was peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were tastefully appointed, staff were efficient and friendly and every detail carefully thought out and executed from the time you arrive to when you check out. The restaurant is world class with menu offering the best rendition of Filipino food there is. Our every meal was a delight and worthy of accolades from food enthusiasts everywhere. I want to shout high praises of this hotel to the top of the mountain but on the other hand want to keep them on the down low to prevent the place from being overrun.

We had a lovely stay at this resort located on Sabang beach which is 1.5 hours from Puerto Princesa. We had a large spacious beachfront room upstairs with a gorgeous view. The room was nicely equipped with everything you need including an ironing board and iron ( very rare) A extra big California king bed with very nice linens made for a great sleep. The resort was set in lovely gardens and ponds. The pool area is nice with sun loungers with Cushions - also very rare! The food we ate at the restaurant was very nice and the coffee was really good!! An Italian/ filipino bean blend apparently ! Staff were excellent in every respect. The beach is very nice and the sea extremely clear and clean. It was a great spot to relax and swim. There is also a tropical beach bar on the sand which was fun! We booked the sub terranean river tour through the hotel which was well executed ( but be warned 1000-1800 tourists rolling through there everyday) It was managed well and there is a lot of consideration for conservation and respect of the environment - which is refreshing.

The rooms are a little dark with all the shutters on the windows ( which can be opened) But with such a great view it’s a shame to obscure it! There was renovations going on ( which we were not warned about) the noose wasn’t an issue but the toxic overspray of paint was smelt around the resort.

The property is quiet but really well looked after, great attention to detail with immaculate well maintained grounds and beach. The staff go well beyond the standard expected and were very attentive and friendly. The Manager made a point of introducing himself to all the guests.

It maybe the time of year but everything was dead after 8pm, no bars or live bands to entertain the guests. If you like quiet then this is good. The only problem for me was there is no money changer within 2 hours of the hotel so if you want to venture out of the hotel bring pesos.

We spent few nights at Daluyon Beach resort. It´ s a lovely and wonderful place with clean and large beach. Our room close to the beach was located on very calm place. Actually, on this resort, I like the environmental aspect they take as a priority. Cool. Housekeeping was full of solicitude. Good equipment: as gym, kanoe, paddle board… On top of that, high quality of restaurant and resort staff I would like to highlight. Because everything is about people primarily:) They take care about guests so warmly, so that you get only positive emotions and memories from Daluyon. This was my first solo trip after the passing of my husband over a year ago. I was a bit apprehensive, but I had an amazing time because of the kindness of the staff and the secure and comforting facilities. I loved the jazz music in the restaurant, the kind consideration of everyone, and most importantly, the small things. Everyone seemed to remember your name, despite the large facility. I'm so incredibly grateful for the experience, and I look forward to returning 🙏

If I could really try to find a suggestion...perhaps the room could use a bathrobe?

This place is beautifully located right on the water and the beach is quite fantastic.

The stuff could be more informative about attractions, for example I stayed there for 2 days and had no idea there was a waterfall on the beach. Also we went to check the underground river which boat station is located 10 min walk, they made it sound like it was so far away. The ladies are lovely but they kept interrupting our conversations during dinner. All these can be improved but not at all a deal breaker. This is a MUST stay at place!!!

Can’t beat the location which is right at the beach Very large rooms, tastefully furnished Beds are super comfortable What makes this resort extra special is the staff. EVERYONE is very friendly, kind, professional with the ultimate attention. A special mention to Abigail who could explain every Philippino food ingredients and she took special care of us and everyone. They even come to your room and refill your water bottle. The food is so delicious that we decided to eat there all nights. Breakfast selection was the best we could think of and we are very picky.

Nothing to mention. Everything was perfect.

Amazing place for a relaxing retreat. Beautiful beach and stunning sunsets. We booked the 3 bedroom villa with our own pool and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Rooms were large and spacious. Restaurant had live music all evening. Service was 5-star from the welcome to the send off. Staff was kind, professional and always smiling. Our flight was rescheduled 2.5 hours later and the hotel let us hang around and use the facilities (beach, pool, etc) while waiting for our ride to the airport. This hotel is minutes away from the underground river tours departure point, and there are a few other activities to do.

The only thing we didn't like is that we didn't book more nights in this resort.
