Quiet location and very comfortable room (got a bigger room than booked due to a cancellation). Bathroom was absolutely amazing and wish I had time to make use of the bath. Has a conservatory attached with fireplace. Would be a great place to stay with family.

Owner frantically knocked on door at 09h50, as I was getting my bags to leave (checkout at 10h00), stating they need to clean room as next booking's flight is arriving earlier. Not sure how this was my problem or my fault, nor why I had to be spoken to in such a rude way. Ended up leaving without even going to the reception and having to face rude man again, just left the keys with the cleaning crew (who were absolutely lovely). Unfortunately, this overshadowed my short stay and marred any good impression I had.

Colett & Sakkie, hosts of Dilisca Guesthouse, moved us to Schoongezicht Guesthouse newby as they needed accommodation for a group at Dilisca. Schoongezicht is absolutely stunning and Collect en Sakkie were the perfect guests. I must also mention Elsie who was an absolute darling, welcoming and taking care of us. She also served scrumptious breakfasts.

Nothing not to like. When in Cape town again, we will certainly visit them again.

Colett was a fantastic host, very accommodating with our late arrival and storing of our luggage past check-out time. She was even kind enough to provide a breakfast tray in our room fridge a so they did serve breakfast in the breakfast room on Sundays - extremely thoughtful and generous.

Very nice and quiet vicinty. Spacious lawn and loads of play area for the kids to play.

Cant say there is anything i dont like. Would be even more great if guests had a fire place to maybe have a quiet braai. Not a quick or cheap fix, but a small pool would also be great.

Conveniently close to a lot of attractions. Large, spacious property with shaded parking at the back. Easy check in and check out procedure

The guesthouse owners could consider newer plugs that has USB ports. There was no plug available on my side of the bed to charge a phone.

The location of the rooms ensure a high level of privacy for the guests - one is hardly aware of other guests and the staff members are also considerate and helpful.The guest house is situated in a quiet area, yet not far from shops and other businesses.

The Aircon was wonderful for the hot wheather and no mosquitos. We felt so safe and slept wonderful. The fridge was stocked with drinks and there were snacks. We could go in and out as we liked. We loved their dogs.

shower rose in room 12 rusted .Gives the impression of been dirty not somethin for the shower. honesty bar overpriced .guest has already paid rather make it a convenience than a money making extra

The ambiance, clean rooms, good breakfast.

The shower: the unit where we stayed the shower was not properly mixing hot and cold water. You struggle to get the correct water temp. Very limited space in the bathroom to keep toiletry bags.

Caretakers Anneline and Mara were very welcoming efficient and professional. Booking in was made easier by accommodating a slightly different time.

We managed very well.
