The first mention has to go to the owner who has to be one of the nicest people I've ever met! Every situation was dealt with warmly, courteously and professionally by someone that clearly cared about his guests. I could list a dozen things he helped us with but to give just one example, he took me in his car to the place I'd left my electric rental car on charge when he was already busy running his hotel. Such a nice man and we would come back here in a heartbeat. The room had a fantastic view down to the beautiful marina in Castro. The breakfast was fantastic and included the best scrambled eggs I can remember eating. Lots of other choices as well and the semi-outdoor dining area was lovely.

Everything! The kindness among the staff was extraordinary! Especially the man in the reseption (unfortunately I did not get the name) whom also was in the restaurant, was so sympathetic and kind, always a smile! The room was big with good Wi-Fi and air conditioning that worked very well. The big Terrace with the Seaview was fantastic. Parking was a plus. This is a hotel I will say gives value for money. I will definitely come back next year!

Breakfast was very good, room was like an apartment…very big, bathroom was fine, the balcony was massive, and had wonderful views! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a little dated, and could do with a renovation. It’s a little bit difficult to walk places from the hotel, as there are no pavements around, and you need to walk on the edge of the road to get anywhere.

June '22 stay. Wow! The views of the sea and quaint city from our terrace were truly stunning! Comfortable chairs with table and umbrella--I sat here each morning after retrieving my cappuccino from downstairs, and with a glass of wine each evening. Small refrigerator in the room kept wine and cheese cool. Basic but comfortable room that was easily large enough for 3 of us. Literally perfect location in my opinion--there are public stairs near the hotel that we took down to the oceanfront. Lovely cafes and the town "beach" are here. We sunned and swam here daily. There are private stairs from the hotel up to the castle (cool tour here if you like history and archaeology), and multiple other restaurants and the town piazza where people gather in the evening for aperitivo. Decent breakfast each morning on a covered patio. It's hard to exaggerate how kind the main concierge is. He and his family own the hotel and were always available and helpful. Really kind. Also there was parking included. The city at the most southern point is a lovely coastline drive from here as are gallipoli's beaches. I would return without hesitation.

Nothing not to like.

Located in a perfect central setting. All the facilities were modern and very clean. Car parking on-site was a terrific benefit. The highlight was the fantastic service provided by Luigi. He was a joy to deal with and his smile and pleasure in serving us with meals and friendship will be a lasting memory.

Nothing it was an excellent stay.

The terrace was so nice! Amazing views. We had a table and two chairs plus two sun beds (plus a very useful hanger for the wet clothes). Staff was super nice. Room was big enough and the bed was big and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good.

The shower head could be replaced. Apart from that everything was wonderful..

Hosts were really welcoming and hospitable. The hotel is a little dated but charming. Fantastic terrace off the room with the most beautiful view of castro, a town I came to love! If I return, I will definitely stay again as this hotel was great value for money and really lovely staff. Great breakfast! Thank you so much :)

Great location with parking on site. Short walk up to the Centro and down to the port. Our room had a terrace with a sea view.

Great views, nice breakfast.

Rooms a little dated but the price is really fair and the breakfast was very good.
