Our stay at Peninsula Resort & Spa was truly wonderful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable (we stayed at the reception building), as well as all other facilities. All the meals were really good, with a lot of variety and quality, providing several options throughout your stay. There are also several activities that can be arranged, spa services, tours to different cities, etc. (these will have additional feed but are surely worth it). The location is absolutely beautiful, and the locals are extremely welcoming and friendly! Another very useful this is the transportation to and from Heraklion directly from the Hotel reception, with several convenient schedules and very accessible prices. There are also several activities organized daily by the hotel’s animation team, from karaoke to small cooking lessons/ workshops, bingo, greek night and much more! Overall it was an amazing stay but the main thing I would like to point our is the amazing hotel staff, they are absolutely fantastic, and really make you feel at home away from home, their kindness is unparalleled, super friendly and always ready to help in anyway possible. My mother is a diabetic and had very few desert options on the daily buffets, so the chef always cared to prepare a little something specially for her! I also loved how thy provide little lunch boxes so you can still enjoys your free meals (all inclusive) when going on an excursion or for a day away from the hotel. A special thanks to Maria Irini and Fotini, the receptionist, who truly made our stay even more enjoyable than we could possibly imagine, accommodating our every need m with a constant smile from ear to ear! They are absolutely amazing! Antonio also gave us amazing tips on visiting Heraklion and how to get around the town on Agia Pelagia. I will surely comeback and hopefully have the pleasure to meet them all again.

A very pleasant and relaxing vacation. The location is great, everything you need is nearby: three beaches, shops, car rental, and an ATM. I also liked the kitchen, everything was delicious, the staff was very friendly, the territory was clean and incredibly beautiful. Thank you

Beautiful hotel, excellent buffet selection (especially the seafood night), great views!! I would recommend this resort to anyone who doesn’t want to leave their location they have everything you need and multiple areas to enjoy the view. Great for couples and families. The cocktails by the beach were excellent. The front desk was very kind and accommodating. You are able to take a bus into town from the hotel or book day trips.

The spa was disappointing. I went for a deep cleansing facial and the lady put tinted moisturizer on my face and pretended that she did such an amazing job. I don’t wear makeup so this was quite annoying when the purpose of my visit was for a deep clean. The massage was not great either. The ladies were kind but I regret going. The entertainment had good energy for kids but was too loud and harmful to the hearing of the kids they called to come to the stage. I requested them to lower the volume but was disregarded multiple times over our two week stay. Also one of the French guys who did entertainment was very rude when we asked to turn down the volume.

The service from the moment we arrived was superb. We arrived 2 hours early, and we're given access to the restaurant straight away. We were then allocated our room 1 hour early. On departure, we were allowed to stay on after our 11am departure time. The reception desk didn't remove our All inclusive tags so we still had access to the restaurant after our departure time. We were given 2 little gifts of honey at check out. ( fabulous service). It was a 2 night break for my wife's birthday and she was given a beautiful chocolate birthday cake. We also had a complimentary bottle of bubbly and a beautiful platter of fruit. Following these additional touches, we were also given a complimentary voucher for 4 signature cocktails. We used the vouchers in the piano bar and they were really made well and very tasty. Wonderful touches that really make a difference. The Peninsula hotel is just beautiful. fabulous surroundings. The views are wonderful. Some of the best we have stayed in. The hotel is starting to wind down for the end of the season. For us, this was perfect, not too busy. Our room was lovely and big, lovely comfortable large bed. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pools were wonderful. We tended to use the salt water pool. It was quieter than the main pool near the restaurant, even though that wasn't very busy either. I could go on forever. To sum up our stay. Superb. We will definitely return again. Keep doing good things Peninsula. It makes a big difference. 5 stars could easily be given.

I loath to give a bad comment about the Peninsula but feel it's important to say one thing. The food was not the best. Most hot dishes were rather cold or only just warm. That's a great shame. This is why I rate the hotel 9 and not a perfect 10

Everything was wonderful. Beach superb. Food superb. Room quiet. Shower warm. Bed exceptional. We are not into cocktail hour so this addition was of little importance. This is a large resort with plenty of people coming an going, but you never notice the crowds unless you are needing a sunbed at the lower pool area. We managed to rise early enough and place (Peg) our towel to a lounge before breakfast. This worked well. We will return.

Not the fault of the Peninsula but people leaving towels on sun lounges as they toddled off to lunch (for an hour or two) is a bit annoying. Nobody to police this practice - so just throw the towels in the pool and people will get the message soon enough!

We spend 19 days in Peninsula resort hotel in May 2023. From the very beginning when we arrived to reception we experienced a positive atmostphere. We enjoyed beautiful hospitality at the dining hall with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The kitchen and dining hall was well organised although the number of guests rose suddenly up by 100 guests in one day when more and more holidaymakers arrived. The staff were always ready to keep up the good spirit and cleanliness. It was a beautiful privilege to see how even the head chef and his number two showed up in the dining room and we could express our gratitude him about food. Just before we left, main chef suprice us with an unforgettable surprise. It was always a pleasant to return to our room after it was cleaned everyday by a warm-hearted Maria. And similarly we saw how everyone did their job with a good heart while serving us. The hotel's surroundings are peaceful and pleasant to take walks to, for example, a small nearby village. We will surely recommend others to enjoy that experience.

Everything was just fine! Even if we had some questions we solved them with receptionist.

We stayed 7 days with all inclusive package. Our room was very spacious. Baby cot was provided as requested. Food was quite good. Some meals particularly such as lamb, grilled fish, lots of dishes with eggplants and tzatziki, which was so delicious we ate it for almost every meal. Pizza station with freshly made yummy pizza was opened for every meal. The staff was kind and quick to respond to our inquiries. The best thing is definitely the view though. The hotel is huge and has many platforms/places to enjoy the magnificent sea view. We also dined in one of the hotel restaurants and the food and service were amazing!

Rooms are quite loud, at least in the part of the hotel where we stayed. We could hear everyone in the hallway or even at the reception one floor below. Entertainment and animation throughout the day was only in french (we had no problem speaking with the staff in English, it's just that the activities were held in french). Selection and quality of drinks for all inclusive could definitely be improved, as well as variety of fresh fruit in the food buffet.

View from the room, room size, breakfast/dinner, resort facilities

The pools slightly disappointed: the indoor pool has no shower and changing room; the big outdoor salt water pool was already closed in October (I didn't know it in advance). The main pool was OK. WiFi speed was insufficient for audio/video during the peak hours, even if the signal was strong in the room. I had to use mobile data for Skype calls; but in the night, the speed was OK for video.
