My husband and I went here with my 90 year old father. Among the reasons why we chose to stay here were that my father stayed here on his honeymoon 72 years ago. We wanted to look the place over and see where my parents had stayed, as well as to see how it held up over the years. We were not disappointed at all! We loved the older building style. It doesn’t look like the boring cookie cutter, slapped together fast, type of construction. It reminded me of some of the places we stayed in when we visited Europe, but better than some of them. We could not hear our neighbors and everything worked. The staff was very friendly too!

The absolute only suggestion I could come up with was to have more items with their name on it in the gift store. Even if it’s just golf balls and tees with the name on them.

The facility was dated, but clean and comfortable. The room refrigerator was spacious and it cooled down extremely fast. The value was good and we'd love to stay there again when we pass through.

The place had a charm that made it very pleasant and the historical associations were interesting.

The check out was strange with no receptionist. They could do better maybe a small sign saying to checkout at the Pro Club when nobody was at the main reception.

hmmmm I am not aware of breakfast services... they did make us coffee upon request... and had some great chit chat!!!

not the fault of the hotel or staff... the people above us felt like they needed to practice clogging at night, and in the morning....

Lots of space in our room. Firm, comfortable beds.

Some noise from families in other rooms. Slightly dated feel to furnishings — maybe this is the “historic” part of the property’s name.

This was a wonderful gem to find! Although they don’t serve breakfast or have coffee for the morning, they do serve lunch sandwiches and pizzas for dinner. It also has a nice lounge and cute little gift shop. There is also a Par 3 nine hole golf course! We will stay there again our next trip to Arizona!
