The hotel was family run and they really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even got us some slimline tonics in for out G & T’s, which was so very kind.

No shuttle bus into Sorrento town. The buses are not reliable. Although it’s only 1.5 miles to walk in, I struggled due to back problems as pavements are very small and uneven. No Ubers and the local taxis are expensive at anywhere between 20 & 25 euros each way. Ig the hotel provided a shuttle bus, I am sure residents would be happy to pay for a return trip.

3 nights and this place has become my favourite hotel in the world. Family run for three generations, that latest owners doing their parents proud. Spotless, impeccable service, kind and friendly, made a solo traveller feel part of the family.

Those looking to walk out onto the street and party will need to walk 15 minutes. But those looking for an exceptional stay in the stunning setting of the Sorrento coast… this is it.

I do not think we can fault this hotel it did everything we had hoped it would when booking. The building and grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The staff were charming, welcoming and genuine. The food was fantastic. Our flight out was delayed the Hotel helped us to sort out our transfer and when we checked in in the early hours Guessepie greeted us immaculately dress which a welcoming smile

I cannot fault our visit to this hotel.

It’s an immaculately maintained, superbly located family run hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and clean. The pool area is very pleasant and relaxing. The breakfast is excellent with great number of choice both sweet and savoury. The dinner restaurant has the best sunset views and again the food as well as cocktails are wonderful. The staff and the family who owns and operates the hotel are lovely and super helpful.

The location was absolutely beautiful and had wonderful views overlooking Vesuvius, Naples and the coastline. It is a little away from the centre (around a 25 minute walk) but this was perfect for us as we wanted somewhere quiet and close to a wedding venue we were going to. We had breakfast there every morning and the food was so fresh and delicious and there was a lot to choose from. We also ate lunch there a couple of times enjoying the views from terrace and one evening shared a bottle of Prosecco while enjoying the sunset. The staff were very attentive and kind and we felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Our room was really clean and the bathroom was really spacious. Air conditioning was brilliant and really welcomed after being outside in the heat of the summer sun!

Honestly, nothing! It exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely everything was 10/10. The staff are so wonderful and accommodating, all the recommendations and the boat trip that Gabrielle booked for us were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, so many options. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel Villa Garden made our stay in Sorrento unforgettable and we will most definitely be back next year. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to stay in Sorrento, it was wonderful. See you soon!

Location is good Noisy at night though but not hotels fault Breakfast was nice Fruit was very hard which was a pity

Shuttle bus into Sorrento in the morning and evening is almost necessary as taxis are over priced which is a disadvantage for getting around We walked everywhere Hotel could have information sheet at reception with recommendations of places to go etc

We loved everything about this hotel- views from our room , swimming pool and terrace, breakfast room . Stylish decor throughout and attentive and pleasant staff

We were upgraded which was lovely but the room was a bit on the small side and could have had a little more hanging space / hooks for coat/ wet robes We were disappointed the gym was closed but appreciate there had been a flood

So beautiful inside and out. The room was spacious and classy. The breakfast was served with fine china in a room looking out at the water. The tables along the shoreline made for a wonderful happy hour. The staff was super nice throughout. Very relaxing place to stay !

Our room was right off the lobby so although we had a wonderful private patio, it was quite noisy late at night and very early in the morning.

Location, friendliness and helpfulness of every staff member are beyond expectations. This is a family owned and operated hotel, since it was started by the grandmother of the current owners. Their pride in this hotel shows up everywhere from room cleanliness to directions to poolside drink and food service. so, if you are traveling to the Amalfi Coast, this is the hotel to stay at. On a 5-Star rating, this hotel deserves 10 Stars!!
