Alessia the host was so helpful. She went out of her way to help whenever she could and we appreciated that. The room was spacious and clean and we bathroom was large also. We loved that it was gated and you needed a key to enter the property. Made us feel extra safe. It is about 10 to 15 min walk to Vatican but the other sites would be a 30 to 40 minute walk but we enjoyed walking there and seeing the neighbourhood. There is a bus stop just outside that will take you to the Piazza novena and from there everything is within a 5-10 minute walk which was so handy.

This is a me issue and nothing to do with the room. The bed was not comfortable to me. It was very firm and I am use to a softer mattress but again that's on me as some people like a firmer mattress.

Great location. Courtyard was so cute. Staff so friendly. Check in was made so easy. Such a cute room too!

Everything was perfect with 2 exceptions. 1-the toilet makes this really loud grinding noise when you run the water. But only when running water or flushing so not horrible. 2-they were doing some hammering on the floor above us starting at 8am. That was a little miserable to be woken up to but we got ready and headed out so we didn’t have to hear it all day. Other than those 2 things, it was perfect. So cute. Love the little courtyard that you walk through to go to the place. Love it!!

We had a very comfortable and quiet stay for 2 nights at Gardenia. The location is good, within walking distance to Ottaviano metro station and other bus stations, near the Court of Appeal and the Vatican. There are stores, restaurants, and three gelaterias in the immediate vicinity. The host knew English very well and was very friendly and helpful. We did the online check-in and received our room quickly. There are a total of 5 rooms from what we saw, located in a classic Italian building, so if you are looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, this will suit you. As for the room, everything worked: mini-fridge, smart TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, kettle, automatic blinds, lights, and safe. The bed was firm and comfortable, and cleaning is done daily. Overall, a nice experience in a good location, nothing to complain about. Looking forward to coming back with the whole family.

The host is the nicest person ever. We got stuck in a traffic jam due to a strike and they sent their private taxi for us very quickly. Also they were very friendly and kind, showed us around in the suites. They're always reachable on phone or WhatsApp. The suites are very nice and clean, very stylishly furnished and decorated. The beds are very comfortable. And it's also in a very good location, very safe, there are several good restaurants and cafés around and also a bus stop right in front of the hotel so you can easily get to the city center.

Alessia was incredibly accommodating and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was very clean, and the location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants around. Overall, it was an exceptional experience! She was helpful and went out of her way to help us even if she is on off. Happy! Glad we chose Gardenia Suite!💋🌹🌹

Taxi is scarce even using the App. Unfortunately there was like a “carpentry” banging on top of our room while we are still in bed on our last day.

Our room was like brand new and very clean. Whenever asked for a change of our towels, they did it without complaining.

The only negative situation that we faced, was that, due to a misunderstanding between me and the hotel, about the arriving time, almost 03:00 am of the 19th Feb. So I counted 5 nights stay and the hotel claimed 6 night's stay. But after a discussion we had, everything was cleared.

no breakfast provided but very good cafe just to the right of the property. The bedroom and bathroom had everything you need for a short break. The location was brilliant in terms in being quiet away from the main city area but close enough to walk or use the local buses and metro to anywhere in central Rome and all the best has to offer

The weather but thats only a minor quibble

Beautiful room and building, great communication with the host. Room was cleaned everyday and nearby Italian breakfast (coffee + croissant) was good.

We were lucky to find a parking spot on the street in front, but we had to pay (24 euros for 2 and half days). It says free public parking when you book, but it's not exactly at the property and it was full we got there.

Really big and spacious bedroom, with lots of light coming in through the whole room. Good amount of storage for clothes and plenty of other storage for smaller things, including a safe. I thought the staff were excellent and very welcoming and helped out with everything we needed. Their English was also fantastic

The only problems I experienced was the shower often went cold quickly and also that the room wasn't very sound proof, we could hear our neighbours quite easily.

We liked that there was a small video describing how to get to the property. For some the location might be a bit far from main attractions, but with busses, it made things more accessible and we were in a quiet neighborhood with local places to eat nearby. Communication was awesome!! So helpful with all of our needs. Loved everything and would totally recommend. Thank you, Daniel and Sandra
