Wonderful place in the countryside just 15-20 mins drive from Nafplio. Quite a steep track to get to the hotel but only for a very short distance. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, the beds very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The views from our room across the valley to the sea were incredible. The pool and pool deck were immaculate and the hotel offered a very welcome service of drinks and lunch to our sunbeds! The breakfast was fresh and tasty. It is a very quiet and relaxing environment there, mainly with couples. It was one of our favourite hotels of a long tour of the Peloponnese and we would definitely return. We wished we could have stayed longer!

I stayed in a 2 bed apartment - with my husband and two children aged 9/11 years. It is a Stunningly beautiful quiet location - a real retreat and just what we needed for a 4 days. Gorgeous views! The staff were friendly, fun to talk with and really helpful - nothing was too much trouble at reception (Thank you Nicolette!). The apartment was clean and luxurious. It was only a 10 minute drive to Nafplio and parking in the port was really really easy - so lovely to be able to dip in to the hustle and bustle and then retreat at the end of the day. The swimming pool was lovely and clean. There was a bar menu for food which was excellent, and a bar/cafe for drinks. Excellent!

It was a pity the pool opening hours were 9am - 7pm only - we would have liked to have used it in the evening.

We had an amazing evening meal - it was a set menu using ingredients from the farm- and enjoyed the varied breakfast. We loved the pool with beautiful views looking over the countryside to the sea beyond. We chose Perivoli because of its location so that we could visit some of the main sites in the region by car - Epidavros, Ancient Mycenae and Nafpoli. This worked brilliantly with time to relax by the pool.

This was not a problem for us, as we had a car, but the hotel is located off the beaten track - be prepared to follow the signs through the village, up some narrow roads, to find the hotel on the hillside.

Lovely and quiet. Gorgeous views and breakfast was very generous. The hotel is in an orange and olive grove - very charming.

The restaurant (for evening meals) wasn’t available, which was disappointing because it was part of the reason we chose to stay here. The road to access the hotel is a bit daunting, especially at night. The pool closes at 7, which is quite early. The hotel felt a bit understaffed.

The location of the hotel is perfect and the whole establishment is very beautiful. They have really thought through the layout and the design of the hotel, lobby, pool, rooms etc. to all match the scenery nicely! Exceptional service from staff and the owner was super nice and friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine and a fruit platter at our arrival and a lovely homemade jam at our departure. The first round of water and soft drinks were complimentary in our mini bar. Greek hospitality is really shining through at Perivoli Country Hotel & Retreat!!! Another plus is the delicious food served for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. Traditional Greek dishes with a twist made out of fresh products since they have a farm to table concept. Last but not least there are a number of activities that all guests that are nature lovers or into Greek history can enjoy. The hotel provides you with a brochure with all the activities and info and many were tailored for children too. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to have a car to reach this hotel, especially if you would like to explore the area. Pyrgiotika has really nice taverns with traditional food and the hotel is also just a 10 min drive from beautiful nafplio which is an absolute must see! our base was Perivoli Hotel and then we would drive to Nafplio for sightseeing (Old Town, Palamidi, Bourtzi etc) as well as food/drinks etc) and it is also a short drive just 20-30 min from the beautiful sandy Karathona beach that has a few beach bars and restaurants and plenty of parking space.

The whole staff was very hard working, and knowledgeable of the area. Drying rack is very helpful.

Bug screens were not install on the doors which precluded you from enjoying night air while sleeping. Shower temperature is not safely controlled. The access road is not very wide so your car can easily get scratched on the sides.

Staff was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Room had a nice patio overlooking pool.

The hotel is a little far from the city center. About 15 minutes. The road leading to the hotel is long and extremely narrow. Only big enough for one car at times. Also, our navigation system had a hard time finding the right road so best to contact hotel for tips on getting to the hotel.

Most wonderful and friendly staff. Superb views, peace and tranquillity. Very comfortable, quiet rooms. Good beds and cushions. Well maintained and very clean. Nice shower. Lovely balcony with views and seating. Great lounge and delightful swimming pool/terrace. Good quality evening dinner. Tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.

We feel that the dinner costs were too high (quality was good) and that the breakfast lacked completeness (although tasty).

We chose this hotel because we wanted to be in the countryside of the Peloponnese, and be able to drive to some wonderful touring destinations such as Nafplio etc. The experience at this hotel was superb…we felt like we were at a resort that catered to royalty.! Highlights included the attention to details at meals..little flower arrangements next to your plate, the views from their GORGEOUS pool and area, and the kindness of the staff in making sure that you were taken care of. Shoutouts to Stella, who was the receptionist…took so much time to help us with sightseeing tips, and Ralu ( sp?) and Elena for serving us such incredible dinners and breakfasts. Our room was large, impeccably clean with a balcony that was lovely to see out in the country side. Parking on site was ample, and if you drive to the village, there are a couple of restaurants that were very kind and had super eats for lunch.

Our room had a second bonus private balcony, nice views, good restaurant, nice bar area and terrace, all staff that we interacted with were excellent. You could pick fresh fruit from the property orchards. had a quiet pleasant stay

Wifi did not work in our room. For three day stay we had to use Wi-Fi from common area.
