I have stayed here often. All of the staff is like family. Breakfast is great, giftshop is nice. The coffee is always going. The proximity to LSU is perfect. I prefer to stay here for all of my visits to Baton Rouge. It is secure and offers plenty additional space to bring guests for entertaining and spaces for my remote work.

Some of the rooms are getting outdated, and the plumbing is getting quirky. Never can get the towel and washcloth count perfect. But overall great experience.

The breakfast was very good with great options, and the location was perfect. The stay was beautiful and peaceful and close enough to all the attractions of both colleges and city attractions.

I think the pool area could’ve been better, but with it just being me and my husband it was fine, but had we brought along the grandkids they would have been looking for a larger pool

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The facilities are very nice, and the location is excellent. Lovely views of the LSU campus, lake is right across the street and location is nice and quiet. The breakfast was great.

Few guests so the selection at breakfast was scaled down - which makes sense

6 different TV channels in the breakfast room seemed a little much - I guess it could be done if each table allowed selection of the channel on a speaker on the table

We stayed here for a campus tour and the location was perfect. We could walk to anywhere on the campus. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus.

The front desk staff were impeccable. The room was nicely appointed very clean and quiet. The grounds of the facility were the LSU campus and I walked around and looked at their greenhouses and gardens and other type of agricultural research they have going on there which I found interesting.

I did not think much of their “traditional southern “breakfast. I thought it was quite lame, in fact. I also really did not like that after I booked a second night after being there my first day I got a loud knock on my door from what appeared to be a security person who told me he was sent up to “just check on the room “. This was rather offensive not to mention highly disturbing as I had finally fallen asleep for a nap after getting in very very late the day before. I got no reply when I said the phone works why not call up.

Beds were comfortable and it was surprisingly quite especially for being on LSU campus.

Finding the building is difficult I drove in circles and finally had to call the front desk for help. The decor is very bland and reminds you of the movie The Shining.

the wifi service is weak and you no longer have starz cable

My TV and remote didn’t work. No channels available. NOTE: It wasn’t a big dislike and I called the front to report room 522; but I declined Maintenance coming to my room at 9:00pm since I was in bed and a solo traveler.
