The hotel is a little oasis. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment of arrival. Breakfasts were amazing eat al fresco in the hotel's beautful courtyard. Home made food and some variety each morning -- and always slightly more than we could readily eat -- breads, a savoury item, fresh fruit, cake, eggs, yogurt with honey, all delicious. The room was very attractively presented with plenty of lighting and a small balcony outside lookng onto the courtyard. The provision of a kettle in the room was much appreciated. The location is on a quite car-free street which runs east into the heart of the new town. The historic fortified old town, which is fascinating, is easily reached on foot. Even more so is the beach that runs around the north of the city with views of Turkey in the near distance. Lots of eateries around about, but since we were there so far out of season, only some were open. We found Pan e Vino, recommended by the hotel, excellent.

We have no complaints of any signifcance. The bathroom was a little small -- the washbasin being in the main room -- but this was so much nicer than the rather clinical bathrooms we have encountered elsewhere.

The term "oasis" has been used several times in previous reviews. It is actually difficult to fully describe how perfect this hotel is. It is in a great location with a 15 min walk to the old town and 5 min to the new town shops. It is surrounded by lovely restaurants and activities. However, once you enter the sanctuary of this hotel, it is like being in a spa. The staff are the absolute heart of this hotel. Stella, Poppy and darling Natalya can not do enough to make your stay perfect in every way. The breakfasts are stunning and have home baking and home cooked pies as well as fruit, bread, yoghurt with honey and nuts. The plunge pool is quiet and a perfect place for a cooling dip or a snooze. We will be back!! Xxx

Absolutely nothing..

This is without doubt one of the most welcoming and comfortable hotels we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at some crackers. The team who work in this special environment are all extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The set up for breakfast was very elegant with a presentation of fresh fruit, cakes, filled rolls, special yoghurt with nuts and honey, eggs and juices. Their anticipation that any excess food could be wrapped for lunch was welcomed. The recommendations for restaurants were spot on and there are some terrific spots within a very short walk. Overall, an absolute pleasure to enjoy the hospitality of this boutique hotel that is wonderfully managed and staffed.

Everything.. from the first second you step through the door into the most stunning courtyard with plunge pool, water feature and areas to sit and relax. The wonderful friendly accommodating staff and the beautiful room with an area to sit and read outside each room.. The breakfasts were stunning.. all homemade cakes.. just beautiful and plentiful. We aren’t breakfast people so we struggled to eat it all… so if you love a breakfast with fresh produce you will LOVE it here. It’s perfectly located to the beach and the most amazing restaurants literally next door. Would highly recommend to stay here we are booking again for next year as it’s also only 5 mins in a taxi to the port where we catch a ferry to Symi (where we like to stay for a few days.) and it’s walking distance to the old town. Enjoy!

NOTHING

The Sperveri Boutique Hotel is an exceptional place to stay in Rhodes Town. It is in a good location, just a few minutes walk to Elli beach, and the old town. The hotel is in a quiet, pretty street and when you go into the courtyard it is like a little oasis. The room wasn't huge but very comfortable and good facilities (best hair dryer I've ever had in a hotel!) All of this is great, but the hotel is made special because of Stella, the lovely manager, and the other staff are very kind. Big thank you to Natalia, the chef who makes amazing breakfasts. We were sad to leave and hope to go back again one day. A lovely experience.

It was all good.

The Sperveri Hotel is a real gem. The location is perfect as it is close to the beaches and hundreds of restaurants, and is within easy walking distance of the main shopping area and the beautiful old town. The rooms are spacious and stylish, and the outside area is perfect for relaxing. The breakfast offer changes every day and offers great choice, quality and quantity. As perfect as the hotel is, what makes it stand out from all other hotels are the superb staff, headed by the wonderful Stella. Stella is the perfect host, welcoming, attentive, helpful and informative. If I were the Greek Minister for Tourism, I would put Stella in charge of training everyone in the hospitality industry. In fact I'd vote for her as Prime Minister!

There is nothing to dislike.

We loved The Sperveri from the moment we arrived. Stella and her team and in particular Natalia looked after us all the time, they were so helpful and pleasant and good fun to stay with. Natalia's breakfasts were an event in themselves no one could ever walk away hungry! The hotel was perfect for us as it was small and personal, close to everything (old town, Beaches etc) yet also it was a little oasis of peace and tranquility. We absolutely recommend for couples staying here and we certainly will stay here next time we are in Rhodes.

Leaving.

The breakfast was superb. If we couldn’t eat it all the staff wrapped it up for our lunch. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious. We didn’t use the pool at the hotel as we prefer the beach. The location was perfect but the area would benefit from a good sweep up!

We booked two rooms. One was a lot smaller than the other and lacked storage. When you stay for two weeks you want to be able to unpack and put your clothes away. This was not possible in the smaller room.

Amazing little gem of a hotel situated close to everything within walking distance: the room was beautifully decorated with every amenity you could wish for. The breakfast, was spectacular...everything on offer from gorgeous fresh fruit to homemade pastries, cakes, pies, full Greek breakfast and more. Such a great atmosphere and feel, Stella and her team were fantastic hosts and we enjoyed every minute. Wonderful!!!! 5 stars. 😍
