The owners of this property were so lovely and welcoming, they went above and beyond to make sure we had every we needed and nothing was a bother. We booked room 4 with a private hot tub which was sensational. The area with the hot tub having a roof on was a bonus and all lit up with fairy lights. We were allowed music on until 11.30pm and could stay in the hot tub until 3am which was a change to most properties which are normally strict, this place was very chilled and relaxed. Although the guests next door had their music on loud until late, once we were back in the room with the door shut you could hardly hear this so that was no problem either. The room was only small but was perfect for me and my partner and had everything we needed (including Netflix which was a bonus!) The area is very remote and secluded but Seaton Carew seafront is only a 5 minute drive up the road. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!

Staff is amazing they really really care about your experience. Nothing is too much hassle for them. It's not far from seaside but Standards are much better then seaside B&B's or budget hotels and it's also very clean. Plenty of parking spaces. Tea and coffee facilities. In the room with jacuzzi (on covered patio) You Also have small Kitchen with fridge and microwaves. Bathroom with shower, bath and toilet and extra separate toilet. No one is making any problem with you having bigger group of people in your patio until any time you want as long as you not course to much of a disturbers to others. You shouldn't have many people in your room due to fires safety but that's understandable.

The staff and manager were super friendly and helpful, to the point the managers son popped to the local shop for us late at night for essentials. Room was nice and big really well set up. The hot tub room we had to ourselves was very impressive! My daughter loved it, all in all if I go back that way for a holiday I would definitely stay again. We had to leave early so didn’t get a chance to say thanks and let them know we had a great time. It looks like it’s only going to get better with the plans they have including a mini golf course!

Only pointing out 2 things as I didn’t get a chance to let them know in the morning and they might not have realised: I think the washing machine went off on a timer late at night about 1am? Was really load as we were right next to that room. It might not do that all the time but maybe check in case it does. And a very small one the tap in the bathroom is on the wrong way hot as cold and vice Versa, just in case kids use it as it can get hot.

Continental breakfast was available - supermarket level items like choc filled crepes, yoghurt pots, orange juice, etc. Wi-Fi worked well Able to provide reliable taxi service numbers at desk Bathroom was clean and well stocked with toiletries

The bathroom window did not close properly, allowing a large spider to enter it, but the manager was able to remove the spider promptly when I called them. I was given two sets of towels and toiletries to choose from, which was nice, but one of them was stained, so that naturally made my choice for me.

It was lovely we stayed in the cottage with the hot tub it’s very modern and cozy! The staff were very welcoming and helped us throughout our stay. They even hire speakers out which was good for when you were in the hot tub with a charge of £20 for the speaker then you get your money back for the speaker when you leave.

The only thing we had trouble with was the shower and bath it started with hot water but then would go ice cold but we managed in the end and it didn’t bother us.

Great room with a fridge/microwave in and lots of teas/coffee etc. bathroom fine and loads of space to put things. Bed comfortable and entry codes great too. No complaints about room. Good location for Hartlepool, as away from the town.

The constant comings and goings all night with doors banging. There were posters around saying to report but would it have done anything? You need new door "don't bang hinges!"

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, we took our 3 small grandchildren to stay, finding rooms to accommodate 5 people can be difficult and often cramped but this was brilliant we had a large room with lots of room and all the amenities you cam ask for, very reasonable priced and close to the beach. Overall we had a great stay and definitely be back soon

Family room was lovely and big and could cater for 5 if needed. Nice and clean. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Love that it is dog friendly and she was fussed by staff too.

Only problem we had was that the tv didnt work properly , it just buffered and only played certain chanels. We think it was down to no signal, may need a new airel, we were only there one night so wasnt too much of a problem, but if there for longer would have mentioned to staff.

Just arrived home from a lovely weekend at The Mayfair Lodge and enjoyed every minute. I contacted the property before hand to dress up the room for my partners 21st birthday and they did an excellent job. The staff were fab and catered to every need (they even gave us a lift up to the town when a taxi didn’t turn up) we will 100% be returning.

The only slight downfall was the shower wasn’t very powerful but it still worked and didn’t hugely effect the stay

The location was easy to find by car and there were plenty of parking spaces available. My GF and I absolutely loved the room and all the effort the staff made to decorate the hot tub room flawlessly. Without doubt this is a must visit for Hartlepool and an extra special professional credit goes out to the fabulous lady on duty who checked us in, and ran through all the do's and don'ts. It was literally perfect for Valentine's Day. A tremendous job all round 👍

There was nothing not to like. As everything was literally perfect.
