So functional and comfortable for our whole family of four kids and two adults. Excellent facilities, easy to manage and so clean and tidy. The pools, both outdoor and cool and inside and hot, were epic. The playground so handy too! The kids would have been perfectly happy without even leaving the motel. Plates, cups, body wash, spare blankets, lush pillows etc…all awesome. A very prompt call to let us know we had left a couple of things behind…quick enough to catch us before we’d even left town. Great service!

Old school exterior but all perfectly fine for the price we paid. Warm, dry and had everything we needed.

This was our second time at the Flamingo. It's family friendly, it's excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We needed some soy sauce for some dumplings we bought, and they were very happy to give us some. We needed some ear plugs for one of the members of our family who forgot to bring them, and they were able to provide some. Very nice outdoor pool, and very nice indoor heated pool. The location is very good as well.

We don't really have anything to say here.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had pretty much all the utensils we needed (a pair of scissors and a sieve/colander would have made it perfect). The bed was comfortable and extra pillows were provided. There were a couple of little extra touches left for us when we arrived which was nice 😊

There were stairs to get up to our room so with two heavy cases that was a bit tricky. There were ground rooms so if stairs are a big issue it would be wise to request one of those. The motel was on a busy road (SH45) so a little tricky to get out of if turning right. Noise was not a problem though.

We loved the hot pool and the grassy space with a playground. The kids spent a lot of time outside when we were back at the motel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The location is only a block or so away from the waterfront. The motel had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen (we cooked most nights), extra pillows, blankets, pool towels etc. We were comfortable and warm. The motel was clean and tidy.

Great location, was easy to find, walking distance to CBD, heaps of free parking literally at the door step, very clean and tidy place, very nice and friendly staff. There was even an outdoors pool available on site.

Would be great if there was a uni-water tape in the bathroom handwashing sink instead of two separate old school tapes for cold and hot water, but that's just my preference, just a tiny friendly suggestion. Everything else was just excellent, thank you so much! A great place to stop at.

Our two-bedroom unti had everything we needed in a home base for a long weekend. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kids loved the heated indoor pool too.

There was nothing we didn't like, its just that the place hasn't been modernised in a few decades. We were on the road side so there was a bit of road noise. And it took a very long time for hot water to come through the tap - all of these were very minor and didn't affect our stay.

Being able to relax. It met all our needs for disability in health and an over energized child. lol. Having a choice between the hot pool or cold pool, which was salt water, was awesome for the skin. The manager returned to the site after hours to unlock my unit as I left my keys and phone inside. Neighbors and staff were all friendly. Fresh linen daily. Highly recommend this place.

There is nothing not to like.

It’s a great location. Good parking. 2 swimming pools. Kids playground. Awesome that it has a coin operated Laundry and full size oven in 2 bedroom apartment. Ground floor had its own private outside area, was lovely.

Not knowing how long the washing machine or dryer run for or how to operate it. I got it, just took a bit to realise it was $4 not $2 lol but in saying that a simple solution would be a sign. Pretty fixable dislike.

Owners very friendly and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The accommodation was so clean, that was the first thing I notice when opening my door. Bed exceptionally comfortably, shower, bathroom great and the kitchen perfect. The room had everything I needed.. In the fridge was 3 large complimentary chocolate fish left for us, lovely touch..!

There was anything I didn't like. Except I wished my bed had faced the tv, but that's just me being lazy. But the chairs did, so that was fine.

Accommodation was central, Restaurant for dinner and Cafe for breakfast literally down the same road as the motel. Rooms were family size, fitted with kitchen if staying more than a night. Very happy with the choice of accommodation. Oh we left couple of items one being my grandson's headphones for his tablet, only a cheap pair but the motel owner called me to let me know. It is very rare for this especially with cleaning staff to hand belongings left behind. Thank you.
