We loved Maria, the hostess and the captain! We loved the rooms, gorgeously decorated, with many options of bed and bathroom linen, beautiful curtains, air conditioned.. And many accessories, like bottled water and chocolates every day.🍫 😍 A guest kitchen fully stocked with refrigerator, kettle, coffee and dishwasher. Fabulous breakfast, best coffee in town.☕️. 😋 Great little waterways behind property for paddleboarding. Close to Buffalo Beaxh. 5 mins drive from Whitianga.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The location and property are lovely. Maria is a wonderful host … joyful, helpful and very friendly. Upon our welcome to our room it was supplied with bottled water and chocolates. There’s a lovely shared compact kitchen area with facilities to use if needed. The beds were so comfortable and I loved the ironed linen. The included breakfast is so full of great variety using her lovely China crockery. I wish I could have fitted everything on offer in my stomach. We were left wanting for nothing.

That we had to leave

Maria was a wonderfully welcoming host. The photos don’t do justice to the room which was much better than I was expecting. Bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet so we got a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was outstanding - so much choice and absolutely delicious but also beautifully presented on vintage china. It was just a wonderful stay and deservedly described as luxury.

Nothing! It was superb.

This place is immaculate! Quite, super clean, we loved the luxurious feel of linen, high end interior, delicious breakfast and the super nice hospitality of the owners. Hands down the best place we stayed in a decade in NZ! (we travel often on a budget) It is situated a bit out of the town centre, but that said, it's only a 5m drive and the beach is only a 5-10m walk via a beautiful natural reserve and estuary. We will be back!

We loved everything

The breakfast was superb with an excellent choice of continental and hot breakfast. The food was prepared and presented beautifully on china crockery and was freshly made by our host, Maria. The bedroom was lovely with all our needs catered for and a special chocolate treat as well. A very welcoming host in Maria who wanted to please her guests and couldn’t do enough for us. The outdoor space had lovely seating areas and looked out over the creek and landscaped gardens. A restful and peaceful place to relax.

There was nothing to dislike.

Maria was a fantastic hostess. The property is beautiful, the linens, dishes, etc. were very "European" and lovely. The breakfasts were excellent ... no one could go away hungry. Fresh bread, cheeses, fruits, meats, and made-to-order scrambled eggs couldn't have been better. If you wanted/needed anything or any answers, Polish Maria (as she liked to refer to herself) would do it for you...make reservations, get you something....whatever you needed, Maria was there for you! The epitome of what a B&B host should be! Thank you, Maria.

Not a thing!

Maria and Guy were next level hosts..everything was more than perfect..the room was very clean comfortable and spacious..the breakfast included in the room price was absolutely divine well presented you couldn’t have asked for a better experience anywhere I highly recommend staying with Maria and Guy lovely lovely people thank you for your hospitality Sheree and Dale

There is nothing I could fault at all

Maria the hostess was very attentive to all our needs. We were travelling with a ten month old baby. The property was very clean and comfortable and convenient to have a walk along the foreshore. The property had a small kitchenette (microwave and fridge, kettle with all plates and cutlery). We had access to a bbq and large outdoor setting. Plus the breakfast provided was varied and delicious.

The hosts were very friendly and funny, cleanliness of the rooms were exceptional! We had such a lovely Easter morning very surprised to wake up to chocolate and so much to eat 🙂 the place is in a really cool spot with beautiful surroundings/ heaps to explore, and the hosts treated us like family would definitely recommend to stay.

Little bit far from shops would be cool to walk instead of drive but that's Allgood! The place itself is amazing you don't want to leave anyway!

Exceptional place. The hosts Maria and Guy are amazing personalities, very friendly and hospitable. We stayed for 2 nights over Christmas break our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, spotless and we really enjoyed our stay. Maria looked after us from the time we arrived, gave us a short tour of the place, where to find everything. There was some chocolates in our room with fresh water bottles. The best part of this place is the Breakfast. It was fantastic and Maria ensured no one left her dining room hungry, offering cereals, cheeses, salami, salmon, yoghurts, toast, and both boiled as well as scrambled (one of the best in the town) eggs. We shared our home-made Pan cakes with them, both Maria and Guy really enjoyed our food. We would highly recommend anyone to visit this beautiful place, when you need to stay in Whitianga, you will not regret.

There is not a single thing to complain about this place.
