cleanliness, up to date facilities

I understand labor issues, but was annoyed at hour and a half wait for my room as I watched at least 5 other parties check in. I asked for cooking hot plate at check in and had to call 2 and a half hours later from my own phone (the in room phone didn’t work) to remind them. The microwave didn’t work, was replaced on day 2. The last day I missed breakfast by 5 minutes, although the food was still on the line, concierge would not let me quick grab one of each of the omelets for my dog and I. About the only thing that might be gluten free on the line, besides yogurt and apples. Which I couldn’t get either. There was no hand soap available for the entire hotel until day 2, used shower gel.

Very modern & clean rooms with all the amenities I could want like a mini kitchen with appliances

1) The flow at breakfast time wasn’t good at all. Breakfast was included in the price but had to wait a long time(it seemed ) to get it We had gone down around 8.15 am and a big crowd with slow moving lines. A family of 4 left the line right in front of us 2) Very difficult to get the soap off during showers & hand washing ? Something to do with the water. Had the same issues in some of the restaurants in Rapid City though not as bad

The beds were comfortable the room was clean and the bathroom light was the brightest light I have ever seen.

The outside entrance was dirty I gave them a bit of a pass as there is construction in the area and dust would have been hard to keep up with. However the cigar butt that took up residence by the door could have been taken care off. Also there was only one person working breakfast and she was hustling. she could really use some help cleaning tables and sweeping the floor periodically during breakfast by the end of service there was cereal every where and syrup smeared on the tables.

I liked the size of the suite rooms. The bed was comfortable. Huge bathroom. Great breakfast. Like that it was pet friendly and a relatively quiet room despite being at an exit (they left the exit doors open so it eliminated the noise from doors open and closing.)

The shower felt dirty - the handiwork was sloppy on it so there was glue/caulk/etc… spattered on the floor and wall and it was hard to tell if it was permanent or dirty. The shower gel dispenser in shower was empty.. The blackout curtain was broken and hanging tilted halfway down so woke up early due to the lack of covering.

Our suite was clean and well-appointed. Once I checked, I received a welcome text from the reception team. While at dinner, my wife remembered we needed an extra pillow. I sent a text to the reception team and was promptly greeted with, "It will be at the front desk; enjoy your dinner." And it was- Exceptional service. We will remember Home2suites on future trips.

Staff was great, the location was great, and being part of the Water Park was awesome.

Beds were uncomfortable, and the location of the TV in the room was not planned very well for families with small children. Could hear the people above us all the time, maybe needs some sound deadening in the ceiling.

The staff were excellent. Very kind and attentive folks. From the front desk to the cleaning service to the contractors that worked to replace the wallpapers on our floor. All great people. They didn't look burnt out or stressed, which has a subtle positive impact on the atmosphere. The facilities were clean and the coffee was always hot. I worked remotely while staying and the free internet service was steady and excellent. Kids streamed media devices and I was on my virtual machine and there was no intermittent delay expected in other hotels. The indoor water park! You have to go and see for yourself. I can't say enough about this place. I am definitely coming back for my kids school breaks.

I honestly can't find a negative. If I was forced to say a negative thing, it was that the water park didn't have a week-long pass for the kids. Paid for individual days. I would have paid up for it.

The location was great. Outside and lobby was clean.

Bed not the best. Room could use a thorough cleaning. It wasn’t nasty, but dust on the back of the TV & in corners was a little disgusting!! Could keep a closer eye on the coffee in the lobby, especially in the evenings!

location, price, clean, modern, friendly and professional staff

We stayed in one of the larger 2Q suites—the room heater was not adequate for this space. It gets very cold in the winter in SD—can’t imagine staying in this room in Jan.! We were shivering all night. Staff was very good about providing extra blankets.

full fridge and stocked with eating utensils and dishwashers. the water park is perfect with a good breakfast!

pillows gave me headaches with no support whatsoever. our first room smells bad and with sticky floor. it was replaced right away but the staff had to tell me that he’s by himself and has to clean the whole room because we were inside it.
