This place is really a dream place. Made with fantasy. Something special right in the rice fields at a very quiet location but still close enough to Ubud (1.5 km). They have a steam bath "Hamam" and restaurant overlooking the rice fields.

The place is loved by Yoga people which makes it sometimes a bit "strange". Guests are a bit "special" but nice and friendly. You need to know the place can't be reached by car/taxi but only by 1km walking or motorbike through the rice fields. It is nice, but can be a bit exhausting after having had a night in the bar in Ubud. The restaurant closes at 21:00. They don't serve any alcohol and only vegetarian food. No air con in the room, no fridge. THIS IS ALL OK and can be accepted, but better know before and not be irritated. Again: i loved this very special place.

We recomment dragonfly village to everyone! We stayed a week in dragonfly Village with our family and enjoyed every day of it! Our cottage had a lot of privacy, in the middle of the ricefields. We loved the breakfast and lunch/dinner! Every day we ate at least lunch or dinner at dragonfly! Very healthy food and very tastful and a good price! Its located 700m from the city center, but very quiet! And on one of the most beautiful paths of Ubud! We enjoyed the sauna very much and yoga is only 5 min away (recomment to go to “Body-mind soul Bali” for an authentic experience). They laundry service is good and also the scooter hire went well.

The accommodation is very cosy and invites you to completely slow down. It's a long time ago I have been sleeping soo well. The bed is cozy and the silence, except the wonderful noise of the nature, is incredible. The Staff is super friendly and supports you with everything you need!!! I got Umbrella, Sarong to borrow,...a very short notice pick up from town..... wonderful Service!!! Food is amazing, even as "non-vegetarian" I enjoyed the tasty food so much! Location is great, just a couple of minutes walk and you are in the busy centre of Ubud.

Nothing to complain at ALL!

I loved the privacy and tranquillity of the bungalow. It was like glamping, with a private garden. The mosquito nets work well and I felt very cosy and comfy. The silent sauna was great for a detox. Enjoyed a pleasant swim in the pool with lovely surroundings. The motorcycle ride to get there was scenic and fun. The setting is very pretty with lovely gardens.

I was unable to shower in the bungalow (there was a public shower to rinse near the pool and sauna) before bed due to lack of light in the shower area.

Beautiful and peaceful place far enough from the busy streets of Ubud. You will sleep like a baby there - at least until the Kundalini Yoga class starts next door but they don’t start too early. It’s a 10 minutes walk to downtown through rice fields and you can also take a motorcycle taxi (download the app Grab, similar to Uber) . The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They will transport your bags to the main street, no worries. Ubud is very noisy and crowded, you will be happy to get away from it. if you want to have a drink in the evening buy yourself a beer as the hotel doesn’t do alcohol but they also do next door.

Not much to say, we loved it

The hotel is very very well located - only some foot steps away from the main road in Ubud, but on the same time in the middle of rice fields. Next to the hotel are many beautiful warungs where you can enjoy really good Balinese cooking. The staff was welcoming, friendly and always willing to realize our wishes, e.g. for organizing a transfer. We liked the huts and the big pool very much. The sauna was a quite relaxing place at the end of the day. Breakfast was excellent. We can highly recommend and would always go there again when being in Ubud.

It's a beautiful place with beautifully kind people. The garden is beautiful. The bungalow room is magnificent. It's like being in an adventure film, the sauna experience is sublime. The location of the establishment away from the hustle and bustle of the city is wonderful because you pass trough the rice paddies, and that alone is worth the diversions if I ever go back and if i'm lucky enough to get a return visit, I'll be sure to return.

Beautiful location, approx 10-15 minutes walk to Ubud town centre. There are some great cafes near by with lovely views. The property we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are lush and very well maintained, lovely selection of tropical plants. It was a pleasure walking around and taking photos. The swimming pool was okay, small but clean and a bit of fun. A yoga course was going on and our house was next to it. You could hear the music but it didn’t bother us. The frogs during the evenings and nights were loud but again we didn’t mind at all. It was great to hear nature all around us. We had breakfast every morning at the hotel cafe, and it was nice food. We also had dinner couple of times and enjoyed the food. We loved this place.

Make sure your taxi is booked and double check it has been done the day before. Book it for half hour earlier than you need it. It will be late due to the mad traffic in Ubud and all around the island. We really loved this place and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Everything was fantastic. You can book a massage within 2 hours notice at the facility. Laundry service was fantastic. Food was phenomenal and the staff were brilliant. The location was the perfect distance to the centre of Ubud. You are a 8 mins walk into the centre and then a short walk into bliss. There is no car access to the property but the hotel arrange for your luggage to be taken to and from the property.

Only issue we had was arranging the car for trip pick ups. This wasn’t something we were worried or annoyed about. It’s just something for people to note before they book.
