We had a very pleasant room. Very warm with the heater on which we could adjust. Loved the bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Lovely grounds with a lake nearby and daily visits by lots of geese who come along for a daily walk which we really liked. Overall we had everything we needed and more. Haven’t been in the restaurant. Looks very nice. Yes it is an older hotel but enjoyed staying there and our facilities were very nice indeed. The staff are outstanding and extremely pleasant and helpful.

Nothing We were very happy. I suppose I would have preferred not to pay for parking but it’s one of those things.

The location was exceptional. Easy access to the bus station etc. Need to say a huge thank you to the staff Ana the receptionist was extremely helpful, Faz Ann, Tianna, Lewis (sorry if I spell the names wrong) the cleaners were exceptional. The ensures that they did everything possible to make sure we were happy n the place was clean. They were very helpful. The bartenders were extremely helpful as well.

Only issue I had is we were on the upper floor and there wasn’t an elevator. We had a lot of luggage and a baby push chair and it was extremely difficult.

The staff really made the stay to be honest! From Christopher serving breakfast to Tamera.. We had met Tamera at the bar the day before, And she served us, She didn't know how to do what we wanted but said we could talk her through it, So when I had an issue on the Friday night(2 switches in our room didn't work) and the night porters couldn't sort it I know she would so I asked to leave work for tamera for the morning, We walked through reception, She had an extension lead waiting for us, And even asked how our family dinner went the night before! She really made the stay pleasurable, How she engaged with us made us feel valued, we felt she went above and beyond 😊 Such a lovely young lady! Thank you Again Tamera 😊

The switches, But Tamera really in my opinion how quick she was the next morning with a solution made that situation dissapear 😊

It was a lovely, quiet room at the end of the corridor on the ground floor. The children were fast asleep as soon as they climbed into bed and wanted to stay another night. The staff didn't mind the children being children at breakfast in the restaurant and were very accommodating. One of the children has additional needs, which the staff did not mind. I was even given a compliment that my children were well mannered, well-behaved, and beautiful. My child with additional needs loved this and even said thank you.

In the morning, there was a very strong smell not far from our room. I felt one of the other guests had been smoking something extremely strong in the early hours, and this smell had lingered. Our room was quite close to a fire escape door. Apart from this we enjoyed our short stay.

The attitude and service of the staff was fantastic...any problems were swifty and expertly handled and expertly dealt with in the discharging of their duties to solvecany problems....

Our room had a pluming problem when wecsrrived on our first night.. but was rectified prompty but had to change room the next day as the problem reoccurr ed....Sadly the lack of items on the dinner menu each and every night when we went for evening meals was a bit sad to see.....and the fact that there was no disabled lift in hotel for the assistance of my partner ....other than that the hotel served its purpose well and the staff were excellent in discharging there duties

The room was clean and smelled nice. The breakfast was excellent and well worth the cost. The restaurant was extremely clean and service was superb. The staff were professional and accommodated my request for an early check-in.

I have bad back, so the bed was quite uncomfortable. The shower curtain in the room was so long that it overflowed at the bottom of the bathtub. It should be raised higher than the present position to avoid one stepping on them while taking a shower.

A great little Cafe very much in demand. Freshly cooked breakfasts as much as you can eat. The number of people sitting down spoke volumes. Very fair prices good value for money. The hard working staff all friendly and polite despite being so busy. Recently renovated bedrooms and bathrooms.

Not living closer - Wiltshire is a long way to come for Breakfast Needing to open the window it was rather noisy being situated on a crossroads at traffic lights but there are quieter rooms available.

Giving this rating due to price, very cheap for the one nights stay with check in from 14.00 and check out as late at 12.00. The room was on the smaller size but again satisfactory for the price, clean and the reception and bar staff very friendly and nice even giving us a call when our food take out was downstairs waiting. Beds were averagely comfortable but only one pillow provided so bring more if you need more, the standard teas and coffees laid out and easy to connect to the free WiFi, hangers provided and a good small storage wardrobe for personal items. Overall good service for the prices paid! thank you!

The only thing noticable was the door to get through to walk the halls to rooms was always open even though it says you need to touch a key card, maybe it doesn't slam easily enough to click shut but this does mean anyone, even non guests can walk in and just go up and down the corridors.

Staff were excellent The family room was very nice and spacious Loved the bathroom Plenty of hot water Comfortable beds. Slept very well

A little cold as the temperature outside dropped. However I was able to get a heater from Reception that warmed the room up I understand it needs to be decorated but I didn’t find it too bad

Warm Room , Good facility, accessible to motorway , near to Azda , good and polite staff, good light in rooms , heater available , big parking , good toilet and shower and bathroom , not compact rooms but open and spacious

The parking was free till some months ago but now we need to pay around 5£ which is ok.
