I needed a hotel close to the airport for an early flight and this was ideal. The food was excellent and staff most accommodating.

I arrived at Halbergmoos station from Tegernsee. It was rainy and while there was no taxi the bus service looked fine. I spoke to one or two people, assuming the hotel was not too far but no one knew the bus stop I should use for a Haupstrasse 51 address, It all worked out by a process of elimination but as a word of advice, the Familie hamburger might care to put up a little sign at the railway station advising would-be guests of the location if they wish to use a bus on a wet Friday afternoon. As things turned out I had no complaints at all.

This was my second visit to the hotel, so I knew what to expect: a very efficiently-run experience, friendly staff, a great Biergarten restaurant outside, a comfortable bed, effortless wifi, a superb and spotless shower, and even a complimentary bottle of the hotel's own excellent beer on arrival. The hotel is situated right on the edge of Goldach, with a REWE supermarket just a few yards away and other facilities close at hand. It's quiet, but the road outside leads directly to the Hallbergmoos S-Bahn station, just one stop down from the airport. There are buses between Goldach and the station, two kilometres away, but I've walked it twice now; it's a nice stroll if you don't have a lot of luggage.

The main light in the bedroom is on a timer, which doesn't give you long before it goes out again. There are other lights, and working at the desk is not difficult, but lighting could be brighter than it is.

Bathroom was new and top quality. Bed was comfy and cozy. The staff were simply wonderful. Love the building and it's history. Restaurant offered hearty German food and was good quality. Nice free breakfast each morning with plenty of selections. Short taxi ride to the airport which staff called, or get the train and local bus to and from the hotel both to Munich City or the airport 🛫. Wonderful stay had!

Not much at all. A wonderful stay to end our 6 week Europe holiday.

The place was exquisit! The stuff was so friendly, room had everything we needed and the airport is really like 15 minutes by public transport away. Free welcome beer from their own brewery was amazing touch!

The.only things which would use a little touch is: better lighting (no ceiling lamp which made it quite dark) and cleaning under the bed. Also, for people travelling from airport a clear instruction on a main website would be nice, as we had to go through all the q&a to find a way;) but it's minor details

Location is very convenient to the airport and an easy train ride to Munich (after walking to the station). Room was comfortable. Breakfast had many options, and the hotel restaurant is excellent. There is a nearby forested walking trail along a stream for exercise and quiet relaxation. parking is excellent; they just expanded the parking area. I would stay here for a next visit.

There was some construction noise (expanding that parking area), but it was only during normal workday hours.

This Gasthof was exactly what I was looking for when I did my research for a place to stay close to the airport with a real German Bavarian feeling. It did not disappoint in any way. The room was very clean and window was open to allow fresh air to come in….. the bathroom was newly decorated with everything you need. The best part was all the outdoor dining rooms as well as indoor dining. It is very obviously a favourite spot with the locals. The dining area was full. All the food looked super delicious as it came out of the kitchen very quickly and the prices were excellent. We had excellently prepared schnitzle with the authentic German Potato salad, Carrot salad, with a green side salad as well with 2 large beers the bill came to 33.90 Euros…… super well priced. I highly recommend anyone who needs to book a hotel when you are flying out the next day from the Munich airport to stay here. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. We rented a car and drove in from Regensburg anf then dropped off the car at the airport…. Super simple procedure. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding and also included in the price of the room…… beautiful selection of fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, breads, buns, pretzels, juices, jams, and excellent coffee. We left them with a beautiful bottle of Italian wine as a thank you for their wonderful hospitality. You have to give it a try……our room was in a quiet part of the hotel in the back of the property…. Room 124. Vielen vielen dank to Famile Hamburger…. Bis später…..Auf wieder Sehen!!!!

The hotel was perfect for a stay near the airport! The reception was open until late as we didn't arrive until 2030. The room was perfectly fine - a double bed and bathroom with walk in shower. There were beers and waters available in the room that were complementary. Our room was on the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The breakfast started early - 0630, and had everything one would expect (eggs, fruit, cereal, pastries, etc.). The lady at reception was super helpful and friendly! We fully paid at check-in so could just drop the key off in the morning to save time. We wanted to fill up the rental car before we returned it in the morning and she told us about a station that was open until 2200 and was only 6 minutes away! Perfect! We will stay there again.

Nothing - excellent customer service!

Rooms were clean but very spartan, like a Motel 6. The restaurant was closed on the night we were there; but the breakfast buffet the next morning was outstanding. The staff were friendly and spoke English. Close to the Munich airport.

For the price and location to the airport it was a convenient and nice place to stay for one night. Room amenities were limited: no face/wash cloth towels and no shampoo/conditioner.

Amazing stay that we had for a last minute booking. Hotel Neuwirt, only 30 mins away from Munich, is such an authentic German stay. The hotel's common areas give the feel of 1800s whereas the rooms are super modern and new. Lovely family establishment! The free beer and water to be enjoyed at their biergarten is a must! The breakfast is very fulfilling. The staff is very kind and well-oriented. Definitely we'll come back.

Excellent value for money not too far from Munich airport. Nicer staying here than at a chain budget hotel. Helpful staff and good restaurant facilities also at a reasonable price.

Room was modern, quiet and spacious. However, few pictures on the wall and a rug on the floor would have made it cosier. Taxi to airport is expensive at €32, but if you have the time available, one can get the train to Hallbergmoos and connecting bus for €3.90.
