property is in a beautiful location & very central! there are all the amenities you would need on site which is very handy and a tram that brings you to the marina. property was clean and had all the basics you would need

the bed in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable and noisy when ever you moved which was incredibly frustrating. the second room was meant to have two beds but only had one and the pictures on the advertising make it seem like the patio will have sun loungers & back out onto grass/garden but this was not the case we backed out onto the road with a table and chairs

hosts were very accommodating and allowed me to check in early. the room was very clean and well maintained. small shop below for home essentials which was ideal one pool was closed but the others were open. it was off season so a lot of the restaurants/bars on site were closed but it was walking distance into town/harbour where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. 10 minutes drive from vilamoura showground for the showjumping which was the purpose of my stay free parking just outside.

Our apartment/house was beyond our expectations. So clean, great size, pool view, and access. Garden, lounge area, outside dining and sun loungers. Aircon in the bedrooms. Tastefully decorated, and I am confident the owners are Irish or Irish connections, as the book selections on the shelves were fantastic! Fabulous kitchen and dining area. Comfortable couches in the living room. Washing machine in the kitchen and drying rack wall mounted on the veranda. Rooftop terrace with pizza oven and a lovely touch leaving a starter pack for us if we wanted to enjoy using it during our stay. Rooftop table and chairs were also fabulous to enjoy the views and have a cup of coffee in the evening. Also, a lovely balcony area outside the main bedroom to enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sun. We absolutely loved this house, and we hope to book it again on our next visit. The Old Prestige Village had everything. We were around the corner from a wonderful café and bakery and around another corner for fabulous bars and restaurants. Bar o Cafe was suburb. Great staff and amazing food, great menu selection. Highly recommend their pizzas and their fish and chips, and also the tuna salad bowl all 10/10. Another restaurant in the square did an amazing breakfast and lunch food, highly recommend their breakfast (less than €7) and their wraps were so tasty! The kids loved both of these places while we stayed there. We 100% would recommend anywhere to stay in this village. Our families were over for a wedding and stayed in apartments all over the village, and each apartment was fabulous. You can walk down any section, and it would be hard to take a bad photo there as every single spot is so picturesque, dreamy! Very friendly and helpful staff at reception, making our stay pleasant. €60 charge if you needed a late checkout time, if they can accommodate it. Which was helpful to us as we had a late flight, so we enjoyed the full day on our last day there.

Only a small thing, we would have appreciated fresh towels every 2 days at least. As the towel change was only done once on day 4. That is realy not enough when on holidays. Even though we had the washing machine, sometimes the towels were not dry. It was annoying. A €10 charge for a fresh towel before day 4 is not appreciated. I don't think this is the fault of the house owner, I think this is on the management company. Also, they need a new dustpan, the filters in the aircon need to be cleaned as they often spat out clumps of dark grey dust that were a nitemare to try and sweep up off the floor! Again, only small things. It didn't take from how amazing the house was.

Good size apartment with spacious private sun terrace on the floor above that had four sun bed a shaded area for eating and a sofa and chairs for relaxing. Three or four bars/restaurants on site with a varied choice of food types and price ranges.. Also a very handy supermarket with all the essentials at reasonable prices. About a twenty minute safe walk to the marina area where there is a huge choice of eating and drinking options.

Slightly remote if you don't have a car although the little tourist train runs on a regular basis in the daytime if you don't want to walk to the marina or beach.

Proximity to Villanova and easy access for walking. Restaurants and shop in complex very good. Small charge for sun beds actually a great idea as it means that there was always sun beds available. Do not need a car as so close to Villanova, and if you don’t feel like walking, the Ubers are very cheap. Needed some medical attention and reception was able to point me in the right direction.

Just a small issue with the speed of service one evening in the Artisan Restaurant. It was quite slow, but wouldn’t let that put you off.

The 2 bedroom apartment we had was very spacious and newly renovated. It had a recessed balcony for dining as well as a spacious roof terrace with seating and sun loungers. It was very quiet also. The main pool was great with a safe area for kids to play and the site in general was very well set up with supermarket, bakery, bars and restaurants. Landscaping was also so beautiful and everywhere was clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. Also the bakery does a great lunch!

We ate at the main restaurant Casa Da Largo the first evening after arriving late. While we were glad they accommodated our late arrival the quality of the food was quite poor.

the location is great-everything you need in one small area. very safe and secure-just use uber to travel out and about. its quiet after 11pm-with no disturbances during the night. the walk down to the marina is fine as it doesnt feel like 15 mins.

what we got vs what was advertised was completely different. our 2 bed had dated decor with a slight sewrage smell from a vent under the sink. overall the apartment was tidy-but they really should not advertise something and then give you accomadation different than the pictures.im not the only one to stae this in reviews.

Loved our stay here. All food on site was delicious and came in big servings and the pools were all lovely. It was lovely being on site but being able to change up where you went each day ! The marina was only a 20 minute walk or €5 in an Uber so the location worked well for us too. The apartment itself was basic but had all the necessities we needed and anything extra could be bought from the on-site supermarket.

Great location. Short walk to the marina or only around 3 or 4 euros for an uber. The Old Village is very clean and pretty with a few nice places to eat and drink and a well stocked supermarket. We had a ground floor 2 bed apartment with a small garden area which was ideal to sit out and eat breakfast. Very relaxed holiday.

Initially thought the apartment was a little old fashioned looking but this really didn't matter as it was so clean and well kept.

The complex is absolutely lovely, the gardens are beautiful and the location was a nice walking distance from the front. The pool areas are nice and the bars open and the staff available to help. On site there are bars and a restaurant which are well used by clients along with a small supermarket. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was quiet at bedtime and the complex is in a quiet location.

Our apartment was quite basic and in particular the beds were very low and the mattresses and bedclothes not of a high standard. Also, we were there from 5 days before we had a change of towels. This is the property's policy but I didnt like that - we did buy detergent and washed our towels - not something I expect to have to do on holiday. The complex is beautiful but the inside of our apartment was quite dated and equipped with very cheap furniture, it lacked hooks for hanging items such as coats/towels and the kitchen utensils were very limited. We also didnt like that there was no outdoor space with this apartment, nowhere therefore to sit out and relax in -if you wanted to relax then it was necessary to go to one of the pools and that was and additional 4 euros per person per day.
