Very friendly and responsive host, great location: only a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and a very short walk to town centre (around 10 minutes walk). Big room with very specious balcony, table and chairs and amazing view to the sea. The room was cleaned every day, so it was very clean and tidy. The room has kettle, cutlery, pots, dishes, cups, and fridge, so there are no issues to cook your own food, but there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Skala as well.The supermarket is just down the hill, 2 minutes walk. Property is located on the hill, so it is far enough from the noise and is very peaceful and quiet: we had a great sleep, and the bed was huge and comfy! The outside area is beautiful as well with lots of flowers, blossoming bushes, and well kept. The only thing that could make this place even better would be a swimming pool 😊 but it was not an issue for us at all, having beaches nearby or within driving distance. It is not a downside, just a suggestion 😊 Skala seemed quiet and nice, but we only spent one evening there as we were travelling to different locations every day and explored the whole island (stayed in Summer Sun for around half of our trip). Just down the hill (2 minutes walk), there is a very nice "Ammos beach bar" with a lounge vibe, perfect for cocktails or so to finish the day. Beautiful interior, sitting outdoors under the roof. From nearby places, I would definitely recommend visiting Poros, which is only around a 20-minute drive from Skala. Go for lunch or dinner in "Agrapidos Taverna" - it is located on the hill and has an amazing view of the sea, town and mountains! There are loads of great places in Kefalonia, but I would probably have to do a separate review! 😊

Beautiful location. Flowery terrace that looked out onto the sea. Property very well maintained, spotlessly clean and efficiently run. The hosts clearly take pride in their property. Basic kitchenette with fridge, hotplates and kettle. Good shower. Short walk down the hill to a big sandy beach. Easy parking. I would happily return.

The mattress was hard and you could feel the springs through it.

The apartment is situated on a hill with a lovely view overlooking the sea. It was very comfortable for me as a solo traveler, and I really appreciated the spaciousness. The parking is conveniently located in front of the apartment, behind a secure, closed gate. It's just a 3-minute walk to the nearest supermarket and beach, and about 8 minutes to the village center. A big bonus is that the apartment is serviced daily, adding to the overall comfort.

One note about the location: when walking up the hill at night, the public road lacks adequate street lighting, so it's a bit dark.

The apartment is in a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach and around 10 minutes to the centre of Skala. It has everything you need for your stay and is very clean!

The only negative was that the bed was so uncomfortable, it’s like sleeping on plywood. Me and my partner really struggled to sleep during our 3 night stay.

We received an apartment with a sea view, a large bedroom, a spacious kitchen and living room, and a huge bathroom. It was very convenient to get organized in the apartment. It's very close to the sea and all the nearby restaurants. The hosts are very nice, kind, and helpful, answering all our questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

The only downside of the place is the spring mattress, which is very uncomfortable for sleeping. We would suggest the owners replace the mattress with a new one, which would make the place perfect.

The location of the property was excellent, about 300 meters from a sandy beach (albeit a bit uphill)) and within a walking distance from the town center. The view from the property was unbeatable. The property was new, and the apartments were well equipped. The check-in was quick and easy. The room service was impeccable - our rooms were cleaned every day, and our towels and bed linen were changed every 3 days.

The only inconvenience we experienced during our stay was the lack of any shade on the patio in front of the apartment. The apartment was Southeast facing, and in the morning the sun was burning hot. In the afternoon though, the patio was usable.

Beautiful Quiet Villa apartments with a Fantastic sea view and a local supermarket only 0.3 km away. Room was cleaned every day and cooking facility available. Lovely hot shower and good WiFi. Property is situated on a hill so a car is needed if you have mobility issues, plenty of room to park a vehicle on the property.

Cooking and food preparation area was a bit small and was shared with a sink draining board but everything else was fantastic value for money.

Clean, comfortable apartment with great views over the sea. The host and staff were great and so was the communication with the host. The apartment is serviced daily and it’s a short 5 minute walk to the beach and local shop. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to Scala town, the apartment is lovely and quiet but with everything close by.

We were greeted and communicated before hand in a nice way, shown around the property. Lovely property, spacious for 2 people, cleaned everyday. Large comfy bed and a big balcony with great views. The bathroom was big and a nice shower! Definitely value for money.

Nothing really. If your without a car then maybe not the place for you as it’s a good 15 minute walk into town and it’s a up hill walk to the property itself.

The owner, Spiros, was friendly and helpful. The apartment has lovely sea views and a supermarket, bars and restaurants are a short walk away. Also, the cleaning lady kept our apartment lovely and clean on a daily basis and changed towels and bedding regularly throughout our stay.

The kitchen utensils could be improved by adding a chopping board, bread knife, and tea towels. There is not a toaster or a microwave, which could be a problem if you wanted to cook in. Minor constructive criticism only, which didn't stop us from having a great holiday.
