It was my 4th stay at Colon Playa. However, we stayed in an apartment with a balcony overlooking the ocean and beach this time. To be exact, on the 5th floor apartment 5B. Just one word...fantastic. The apartment was huge and very comfortable. The view was incredible. I always choose Colon Playa because it is right on Las Canteiras and close to everything like supermarkets, restaurants, great swimming with the reff protecting from the big waves. nice staff and good price.

there was no cutting board in the kitchen.

It's a service apartment (hotel) so actually they have 24 hours reception, there is no problem with the keys and you can leave your luggage which is great for our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. The beach is just right outside of the hotel, which is perfect for our swim. Love the view from our window and balcony. Lots of nice restaurants along the coast right outside of the hotel, very good local food! The Taxi station is just on the next street, which makes it so much easier for us getting to the Ferry port after checking out in the morning. Very good value for money.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave us one of the best rooms at the 5th floor with a very big terrace with sunbeds and amazing ocean view. The place was very clean and close to the main shopping centers, supermarkets and the best part of Las Canteras beach. The room was very spacious featuring a small but very well-equipped kitchen.

This is the fourth time I have spent my holiday at the apartementos, the rooms are fab, most have balconies overlooking the beach literally yards from the front door. Its on the promenade, filled with great restaurants, cafes and shops. The rooms are roomy, nice and spacious, well appointed with a little kitchen, a great bathroom with shower, and a table and chair for sitting inside and table and chairs to sit on the balconies. One does not need anything else. A fridge, cooker, microwave, manual coffee maker and kettle so I am completely independent and it saves lots of money on eating out. I should really keep this fabulous place secret... I am booked again soon.

What a great space for a studio apartment! Big, light and airy. Located with a beach and sea view at Las Cantaras, Las Palmas. Excellent kitchenette and bathroom. Fantastic staff especially Jose on reception who was so friendly and helpful! Cleaning lady also lovely and obviously does a good job as the place was immaculate. Very comfy beds!

It was a little noisy outside because this was a Saturday night. Not a problem for us as we slept in late.

Fantastic location right across from road from the beach and the great Boardwalk. Convenient for restaurants, supermarkets, bus station and shops. The apartment was spotless and was cleaned every day and staff always about to assist with any queries.

The balcony never got any sun but it would seem that a lot of the buildings in the area have the same issue so not a fault of that particular apartment block. There is a solarium on top floor but it has basic facilities and has limited space in the sun for clients. I know the sea is nearby but it is nice to sit in the sun on your own balcony so it's just a small personal preference.

Having to PAY to use a safe is utterly incomprehensible!! This is insanely poor service, especially as when we put a “do not disturb” note on the door, the cleaner came in anyway. Are you saying that if I didn’t pay to use a safe, I would be responsible for any losses eg if they were stolen? Having a safe doesn’t cost you any money and it leaves a bad taste to charge for it.

Staff were exceptional apart from 1 night staff which wasnt helpful when my family arrived. Great location on the promanade right in the middle. Would stay here again. Apartment was so clean.

The one night staff when my family arrived late as they were stuck in traffic. Very unfriendy not helful at all.

The place is just 10 meters from the sand and sea! The apartment does not have common dinning room. However the very attentive receptionist provide me vouchers for breakfast for all days of my stay at very good Italian restaurant just next to the entrance of the apartments foie . View for the Las Conteras beach and Las Palmas is exceptional from the sea side apartment. My room was big with two balconies with chairs and table, perfect small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, stove and all small appliances. All stuff works fine.
