We loved the Harbour Komodo hotel, right in the heart of Labuan Bajo with its array of restaurants and eateries right on your doorstep. We loved the rooftop restaurant with harbour views, and the staff were very friendly. I was nervous it might be noisy having read other reviews, but we didn’t find it noisy at all had have a perfectly quiet and restful stay.

You have to sign a very strict-sounding disclaimer about all the costs you’ll incur if you damage the rooms, and we were asked to wait in reception while our rooms were inspected before we could check out. I can only guess it is something they’ve introduced after bad guests but it feels a bit excessive! It didn’t however detract from our overall stay.

The staff was absolutely lovely. They helped arrange transport, recommended a Komodo day tour that was fantastic and were just generally very helpful (just try opening your own door! 😆). The room was charming, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is awesome. You walk out the door and you're in the thick of it - restaurants and shops all right there. There is a mini pool on the roof that we were a bit dubious about but ultimately we ended up sitting in it for about 30 minutes one day and it was quite refreshing. It's nice to have a fridge and kettle and the coffee sachets and sugar are refreshed daily.

Being right in the middle of town there does tend to be some street noise and a couple nights we could hear a singer performing at a bar next door so I would bring earplugs. That being said, the singing was always done by 10:30pm and when we were there he was actually quite good. 😁

The location was perfect, it was at the center & near to the harbour. It's a bit noisy at night, but not really an issue for us. they didn't provide breakfast but we could easily buy local breakfast nearby the Kuliner Kampung Ujung. Thanks to the Hotel for preparing a surprise decoration for our Anniversary. It was a pleasant stay at your hotel.

Road in front of the hotel was very narrow, taxi couldn't stop for a long time & we have to really set an accurate time for taxi pickup. The swimming pool was very small so you can just enjoy anything else other than the swimming pool.

Got message how they're in the middle of town, could be noisy or busy... But close to many things (right near the harbor), can only hear street noise a bit (not loud at all) & mosque chants on loudspeakers barely hear it here, so nice quiet place in middle of city, w very friendly staff... Room is nicely decorated, with a big TV. They have a cozy rooftop resto with a restaurant plus another restaurant on ground floor in the same building (get 10% off in both restos), along an ice cream shop and other little fashion shops. Staff goes above and beyond to accommodate & opening and closing the door anytime you come in and out. Worth it.

It was fine, nothing really negative about it. Some people might say the noise (it is in the middle of the city), but the windows were good about blocking the sounds of the city & the chanting from the mosques. ... However, have to say that the rooftop pool they have isn't for swimming, it's just to put your feet in, which is weird...

We only stayed at the Harbour Komodo Hotel for one night, before a boat trip out to Komodo, but it was perfect for this purpose, and we actually wished we could have stayed a bit longer. The hotel is in the centre of town, so it’s easy to get anywhere you need to. It’s near to the harbour passenger entrance if you need to walk between the two. The room was lovely - very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated. Our favourite thing was that it had a great bar/restaurant on the roof, with a view across the harbour out to all the islands. It was a perfect place to watch the sun go down with a cold beer. It did nice food for dinner and breakfast too, with a 10% discount if you’re staying in the hotel. The service in the bar/restaurant was fantastic, and it was very relaxing, so we stayed until it closed at 10.

The location was perfect as its just a 2 mins walk to the main harbour as well as located on the main road of Labuan Bajo which has all the good restaurants and shopping places. We weren't aware that the payment had to be done directly at the hotel, we were with the understanding that the payment had already been taken by booking.com. However, the staff were really good and considerate to provide time for us to make the payment for the room. The person who owns the hotel also runs a few other restaurants around the hotel where you can avail 10% discount if you are staying in Harbour Komodo hotel. One of the restaurants is located in the terrace of the hotel building and the views of the sea and harbour from the terrace are really good. The room size was just right for our needs and the bathroom was also very clean and dry.

Nothing that we can think of.

The hotel is located a busy roadside. There are plenty of facilities and eateries nearby the hotel, even there is a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and perfect for sunset viewing. The room itself is equipped with Netflix and Disney+ and Youtube which is good even most hotels do not provide for. The room is comfortable.

The rooms are located next to busy restaurants and roadside, which can have alot of noise from traffic and restaurants with loud music, even from the rooftop restaurant. If you are a light sleeper, please consider before booking the hotel.

Perfect for access to the harbour, great places to eat, and dive shops. Comfortable and spacious. There was the usual noise you'd expect on a main street with mopeds and music, but it was quiet by 11. Great view of the lighthouse and even better view from the rooftop cafe with reasonably priced beer and food. Pretty room, and we had the studio, so lots of space. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the main bed was perfect.

They were keen to get payment before we'd even seen our room, which was also odd. Even odder was having to sign an inventory to say we wouldn't damage or lose the items, and this was before we'd seen our room! It was a bit odd to have to wait for everything to be accounted for in the room before we were allowed to leave. But whatever! The water heater was not big enough for three of us to get through the shower before it went cold, but hot water was not really necessary. It is a shame you can't refill your bottles and that only small plastic bottles were provided.

Great location, friendly staff, and spacious room. Comfy bed, fridge, electric kettle, and water bottles provided. Walkable to the harbour and shops along the street.. The rooftop "Lighthouse" has an excellent view of the harbour and sunset... good food choices, too. Loved the breakfast I had! Good restaurants and shops on the street level - tapas bar with great happy hour, gelato, etc. I read that there was a lot of street noise since it is near the harbour, but i honestly didn't find it loud and didn't bother me (I actually slept thru it in the mornings).

Just the sink grout needs to be changed - looked moldy.
