I like my hosts a lot. They are lovely and nice people who always happy to help. I like their garden. The breakfast was simple but very good. I really enjoy the pancake.

The road to the place is good for nothing. It's a broken concrete road which is the best way to spoil my suit-case rolls. In spite everything was clean I saw a huge cockroach. But I think it's just my nightmare while I'm in South-East Asia. Probably it got from somewhere outside.

I liked everything! The staff was so nice and accommodating. I had to be up early for island tours and diving, and even though breakfast doesn't start until 7, i still had food at 5:30 and 6:30. That's what i call customer service! I was actually able to sleep very well here. AC blows cold, big bed, big room, small price compared to the rest of Flores. Beautiful hilltop view as well. Ear plugs are essential, but that is always a must while traveling. The entire island of Flores is littered with roosters, so be prepared. You can't escape them at all. Same with the praying on the loud speakers. It's an Indonesian thing you can't get away from no matter where you are. I'd take this place over any other on the island, hands down. That's why I'm leaving such a long review, which I don't normally do.

Roosters, but that's it. You can't escape them on Flores. No matter where you go, they're everywhere. I just used ear plugs and played white noise on my laptop. Slept just fine and I'm a light sleeper.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was tasty. Room was clean and the AC worked very well. Setting was also quite beautiful with the fruit trees and birds. We could hear the call to prayer but it did not keep us awake and it sounded quite beautiful.

Property is a bit far from town, we knew this but good to know before you book. Maybe a 20-25 minute walk. Toilet did not have a lot of pressure but it did always work in the end, might take a few flushes.

The room was clean, the shower hot and the staff engaging and very friendly. On first night Grab didn't work and the whole family drove us with three scouters downtown. Thank you again for that! The Banana Pancake Was as good as other travellers already said. Just an 800 meter walk to the airport.

The central harbour street with all the action is quite a hike (2 km). But this is the only drawback and more than acceptable for the price!

Really warm and welcoming owner and staff. Sylvester/Fantree/Ferrin were all very helpful and accommodating. Great banana pancakes any time in the morning (thanks Fantree 😂). Walking distance to airport and only 20min walk to the harbour. Good wifi too 👍

A little more variety with brekkie would be nice. The early morning call to prayers did not bother me, but might for some.

- the water autoclave plays incessantly all day, I do not recommend the rooms on the left of both floors if you don't have earplugs. - being on a high hill, taxis can drop you at most 200 meters from the entrance. If you have walking problems it is highly discouraged. There are many animals that make noise.

The guesthouse family / staff was so very kind, helpful, and generous, providing a DELICIOUS breakfast, information regarding transportation and tours. The room was spacious, clean, and it had a very quiet environment. The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked great and the balcony with a rooftop view was an added bonus! It is very close to the airport, you can walk.

The shower could have stronger pressure and just be prepared to walk up a big hill to arrive at the guesthouse, only tiny cars and scooters can enter, be aware of this.

The owners were so accommodating and helpful especially as my boyfriend was unwell with Bali belly (from elsewhere) Standard room with no frills, but is good base if you’re doing a Komodo tour. Not a negative, but we had to go outside the back of room to reach bathroom. I made a mistake of leaving bathroom door open with light on at night. Loads of bugs obviously flocked in, so be careful!

Location slightly too far to walk to anything, needed to get a grab bike into and back from town and restaurants. I walked in once and was a bit much in the heat. Although it is a convenient walk from airport.

We really recommend this please! We stay there for 1 night after Komodo tour and it was perfect. Comfortable, wifi stable, hot shower, good towels, nice breakfast. Staff are very friendly. They wash your clothes: laundry for 15k / Kg. It was really helpful! Walk distance to the airport (400m) and also from the centre (1-1.5km). Car does not go up in the street, so 250m walking up to get there. But it worth it

People which owns this hotel are most wonderful and beautiful I met in whole Indonesia ! I got bitten by fish and got huge allergic reaction, they take care of me there like I am their own daughter! Brought medicines food brought to hospital and check on me all time if I need anything🩷
