Great location, rooms were very well sound proofed from the busy street outside! Luxury feel in the room, service was great and rooms were clean! Very friendly and helpful staff, highly recommend this hotel!

A few towels were torn around the edges. Just a small detail that didn't ruin our experience but did make the experience a little less luxury. Perhaps time to replace them as I did see people mention this in other reviews aswell

Conviniently located in the heart of Lisbon it is a hotel that really meets the "boutique" standards. The interior design is very detail oriented with dinstinctive female touch, including shoes and accesories from famous haute couture disigners. In the rooms the thechnology and the decoration are well integrated, making very nice union (special mention deserve the safe box and the TV). There are many other nice detials like the golden colour, the porcelain cups and the quality of the cotton sheets. Some of the furniture is also from well known designers.

The shower space door wouldn't close perfectly and some water was leaking outside. The minibar offer is limited.

The hotel is in an excellent location, it was very clean (I am a clean freak so I know) and for coming back to a sparkling room each day I give the cleaning staff a 10. I also found the bed and pillows very comfy which was ideal since I was staying for one week. A bonus for me was my little view from my room. The staff were very accommodating. I did not give top score as not overly friendly… could greet customers better so that they feel more welcome.

Though the breakfast was included, it was fairly basic and I much preferred the cooked omelette vs scrambled eggs. I would have loved some berry yoghurt or at least berries to add to the plain yoghurt. I also found the little packets of Kleenex they give you a little stingy vs a box of Kleenex for the room.

We loved the boutique feel. The room details were great, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Within an hour of checking into the hotel, we were napping from our flight, and housekeeping tried to come into the room, even when we had our do not disturb red light on. That was a little weird. Also, the shower leaked a lot onto the floor, even with the shower door closed.

Everything about our stay at the Madalena boutique hotel was exceptional. First, the location is fantastic. We felt like we were in the heart of the city and just a short walk from some of the major attractions. Those that weren't walkable were reachable by the metro, which is around the corner. Second, the room was so luxurious from the gold-trimmed features to the small details, like bathrobes and slippers. We also loved how the room was fully automated - everything from the curtains to the do not disturb sign was electric/automatic. The shower had a massive shower head and all of the toiletries were L'Occitane. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

One thing to note is that the shower stall and toilet stall are separated from the main room by glass doors that are only obscured from approximately the shoulder to the calf. The doors do offer privacy and this wasn't an issue for me and my travel companion, but some may not love the fact that the stalls are not fully obscured or separate from the main room.

Everything perfect but most of all i must Say congratulations on their customer care ! Everyone at front desk was just beyond diligent and Nice and helpful . A big 10 for The people working there. We were a large group and needed help for a lot of things but everyone helped and all with a smile . Incredibile people skills and atention to details. Wonderful sugestions for trips and experiences in Lisbon. As location , is right in the center of the city , modern, clean and interesting design. I am sure IT was The Best possible choice for Lisbon accomodation. I can not emphasise enough The great way they treat customers ... It must be an amazing management

The bathroom privacy and breakfast options should improve ....but IT doesn't spoil The overall experience.

I recently spent five nights at Madalena by The Beautique Hotels in Lisbon, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel’s location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the main attractions and great dining options. My room was a standout, with its stylish decor and an incredible mirror that doubled as a TV – such a cool feature! The bed was super comfortable, making it a joy to return to after exploring the city. The staff were outstanding, always friendly and eager to help with anything I needed. Their recommendations and local insights really enhanced my stay. Comfort was top-notch throughout my visit, with immaculate cleanliness and thoughtful touches in the room. Madalena by The Beautique Hotels offers a fantastic blend of modern luxury, prime location, and excellent service. I can’t wait to stay there again!

Great location within walking distance of the metro, shopping areas, cafes, the river, and several tourist attractions. Staff were always present at the desk, and were pleasant, attentive, and helpful. The room was clean, felt spacious, and I appreciated the room darkening shades and room temperature controls. Staff respected the "do not disturb" light you could leave on outside your room, and wonder of wonders, hall noise didn't seem as loud as usual in hotels so they must have invested in some kind of sound-proofing.

You could not control the temperature or flow of the water from the bathroom faucet - it was controlled via a motion sensor only and had no hot/cold taps. Turning any of the lights on or off resulted in very loud clicking noises from the electrical control panel in the room which was mildly off-putting and made me wonder if the electrical was up to code. The sliding bathroom door was hard to close all the way as it was quite sticky at the end. For full room-darkening effect you had to close the bathroom door all the way as light from the bathroom came into the bedroom. But these were minor quibbles - I enjoyed my stay here, am glad I chose the Madalena, and would stay here again.

shower floor not built properly with an incline and water will stagnate for 24 h till room service comes the next day to sponge it out and push the water toward the drain . as a result it would be slippery with no handles on the walls to hold on this is a high risk situation for falling and a potential liability to the hotel if falls and injuries occurs.
