The physical building and interior decorating was beautiful. The staff were nice and efficient.

We had a room on the roadside upper level and there was a lot of traffic noise. I would request a lower level room on the back side next time.

Surprised to learn it was actually a motel but renovated into an upscale one. Great dining in the lobby. Great outside area.

No elevator to second level. PTAC heating and cooling unit was noisy. Tv channels kept freezing up when using Apple TV and then TV would not stay shut off. On checking out, the front desk person explained there was a second remote hidden in a drawer for standard cable with hundreds of channels but that they didn’t announce to folks that it was an alternative. They reported that they only tell people who call to complain. Seems like a poor customer service choice and a bit off putting

Nicely renovated, looks very welcoming and cozy! Exactly how it should be in the area with beautiful nature around. I came for a few hours after 11pm, and left early, so did not see staff. Electronic check-in was brilliant. The only thing I missed is my coffee early in the morning when I had to leave. But I understand not many places are open around in that place. Otherwise the place is absolutely great. Feels nice very comfortable Bad. I really loved the way they finished the inside of the showers and bathrooms, I would definitely come back with my daughter to do hiking and stay at the hotel.

Overall our stay was lovely. The staff was wonderful, responsive and addressed all of our questions and needs. The location was perfect and the outdoor seating area is great for an afternoon rest. The rooms are updated, modern and a decent size. The bar is beautiful, nice for late night drinks, great mini bar and amenities in the bathroom.

From our stay the year prior, the bathroom wasn't as clean, the air conditioner blower was a bit noisy and we had to ask for extra towels daily and we never received the daily housekeeping we asked for.

The location of Life House is great. Access to Tanglewood, Pittsfield super quick. We loved that our dog was welcome. The rooms are standard motor inn size but decorated in a modern and pleasant way. The lodge lobby is comfortable and funky. Outdoor seating and fire pit rounds things out. The staff were exceptionally helpful, facilitated charging my apple watch due to forgotten charger and recovered my lost kindle in the room. This place is a great value for the Berks in summertime. Fridge in room was a nice bonus.

The location did not work for us as we wanted a place where we could take a walk, even walk to historic Lenox. This sits a short distance out of town on the highway. Not within comfortable walking distance to anything. It feels like a 'motor inn' that has been very nicely renovated but still on a busy road. No elevator if you need one although rooms on the main level.

The motel lobby/restaurant/lounge is beautiful and all the staff I interacted with were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the drinks, charcuterie board and comfortable atmosphere in the lobby. Loved the free coffee in the morning. The motel room was nicely decorated, clean and the bed was comfortable. The motel was conveniently located to all the areas we wanted to visit.

The motel room did feel a bit small and the heater was somewhat loud. Shower flow was light but bathroom was nice and towels were good. Internet at times was difficult to get.

Bed was very comfortable and the room was perfectly nice. Great value for our stay for the area, and the lounge area in reception provided a peaceful and comfortable place to hang out and work remotely. Free coffee in the morning was delicious as well!

There is some road noise, which wasn't a big deal for us but might bother some. It also seems to be finding its way a bit as it's relatively new, but we would definitely return!

There were a lot of nice amenities, little extra touches. The restaurant/lounge area was great. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and welcoming. Parking was easy and close to room door. Let me have a late checkout at noon.

The door on the room was very heavy and the mechanism was set very tight to open and close. No big deal though. The mini bar stuff was great but extremely expensive. Like a 500% markup, but to be expected, I guess. I had some stuff I wanted to put in the fridge, but it was full of mini bar drinks all nicely spaced, so I couldn't really use the fridge. Also no big deal, I had a cooler.

The entry room was wonderful - high ceilings and just lovely - the guests hanging around seemed really cool. seems to be targeted to writers - love the decor so much!! (Once some years ago, we stayed in this hotel when it was a creepy cheap motel!!) Now it is absolutely lovely. The room was great too .What a transformation!

No breakfast. no people. there was no coffee. the check in guy at night wasn't pleasant. the whole staff experience was just weird. Literally no people anywhere in the morning, not even a cleaning person. Tables set up for breakfast but no humans. And no coffee.
