Close to the bustle of Nimmanheimen but down a side street so it’s quiet. The food was good albeit (understandably) more expensive than outside the hotel. The staff though make it pleasurable. They are both friendly and professional and happy to assist with any request. For example the music on the ground floor was audible from my room and they switched it off for me in the evening so I could sleep.

the pool and gym are small.

The room is clean, toiletries are good, usb port power supply, water is hot enough, shower water pressure is good, corridor is clean and no bad smell, grab car can park just outside the hotel doors, a small cafe in 2 minutes walking distance, a small night food market nearby and many food stalls, mini big c, another direction towards Maya has 7-11, small restaurants of Japanese, and chinese ...

Pillows quality is a problem to me, too fluffy, i mean thick,hmmm, the toilet cover will not cover automatically slowly as expected, but only keep to a half way down position, i have to press it down by myself.

Novotel Journeyman in Chiang Mai was very good. It is located in the Nimman district of the city, within walking distance of Maya Mall and a range of restaurants and shops. The hotel is set on a quiet side road. The staff was helpful and professional. The range of Western and Asian food was very good. I tried the breakfast twice as it was not included in my room price. I would stay here again.

I did not have any negatives about my stay or recommendations for improvement.

Nice location near Maya shopping center and One Nimman with lots of restaurants, bars, and massage shops. Room was spacious and clean. Bed is very comfortable. Shower is good with strong water flow and stable temperature control. Breakfast variety is not very large but very good and tasty local and international choices. The fruits are extremely good in both quality and variety.

Great location. So close to Nimman & Maya mall but a short walk away that you don’t hear any noise at night. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and it was fab. The room was really big and has everything we needed. They do offer a shuttle into town however we walked as it’s so easy to do so

The location and atmosphere

The maintenance: particularly i booked a deluxe room with terrace which access to garden: however, chairs are damaged, the maintenance needs to be actioned.

Hotel seems newly renovated, sheets and furnishings all feel very clean. Affordable and value for money rate. Some people said the breakfast was disappointing but we were pleasantly surprised.

The hotel is located along Huay Keuw Road. If you intend to get around by taking red taxis (songtaeuw) there is a high chance they may reject you at peak hour as apparently it is along a stretch that is constantly badly jammed. When we first arrived, the room had ants and many mosquitoes. Thankfully we asked for insecticide and got rid of most of them for a comfortable stay. Some of the staff are very helpful, but not all.

The bed and the pillows were great!

The pool was not as easily accessible as I had anticipated but otherwise this was great.

Convenient location; walking distance to Maya and other shopping areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They not only remembered my name but said hello to my dog each morning. The room was a good size, water pressure was amazing, and everything was clean.

Breakfast was quite expensive.
