A simple hotel that will probably meet the needs of most pilgrims and good value for money. Great location right next to the Sanctuary, a few minutes' walk from the bus station and very near a stop for the little tourist train that takes pilgrims to various sites of interest. The hotel is showing its age, though it's kept clean and the room and beds are fine for a day or two. Bathroom was a little small though, and there's no kettle / coffeemaker in the room. Note that this hotel still uses actual keys - you leave the key at reception when you go out, and the room doors need to be locked "manually". The staff are very helpful and really tried to answer all my questions despite their limited English, which I appreciated. Breakfast is fine with the usual items (bread, cereals, ham, cheese, eggs). I wasn't sure if there was a restaurant in the hotel but Cafe Mutamba a few doors away is an excellent place to eat and drink.

The hotel could not have been more convenient for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, which was practically across the road! Our room was comfortable and had a wonderful view of the Cruz Alta. Javier on reception was warm and welcoming, and very helpful to our enquiries. The breakfast offered a great deal of variety and was well worth the additional charge. We were close to a number of nice bars, and within easy walking distance from restaurants. We were also only 5 minutes' walk from the coach station which was our arrival and departure point. The coach station had a taxi rank which was great for getting transport for our day trip to Batalha.

Not all staff were English speaking, something to be aware of for non-Portuguese speakers.

Location just besides the Sanctuary and near to bus station comfortable bed, , breakfast is excellent, staff are very helpful. Recommended!!

The hotel needs to redecorate the hallway, dark light, the strong smell of the room looks just done cleaning the carpet with the product, it will be nice if there is a kettle for tea in the room.

Simple and a bit old fashioned but with high standards of service. Philomena went out of her way to show us the chapels, even on a very busy Sunday morning. The location was wonderful. Very close to the Sanctuary and with good parking.

The bathrooms need updating but I enjoyed being able to have a bath as well as shower. The lock on the room door was a bit difficult but we managed. It didn't detract from an excellent stay.

Location perfect,breakfast very good,for 3 star excelent,rooms clean and simpatic.But the first in this hotel was the reception younger man,I forgot the name but I remember that he was born in Paris.This man wonderful,pleasant,I have not a thanks words for him.I was been thorugh the Europe but he is really the best receptionist which I meet.Bravo for him.

Wonderful hotel in 5 min walking distance to the Fatima shrine. Lots of resutrants and shopping around the area. Parking was also provided at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helped us with all our queries. Will deifinitely recommend.

A water kettle in the room would be appreciated. Since most of the cafes/resturants close early. Thanks!

Location and well maintained; breakfast was hot and sufficient variety.

When we checked in, we were not told about inserting the key into the wall socket to turn on the electricity. I had to return to the reception desk to find the “secret” !

Very close to the sanctuary, restaurant, and both Basilicas. Very friendly on reception desk. Air conditioning in rooms and having a balcony was great.

The carpets in the hotel need changing they are very old. The bedroom wasn’t hoovered daily . Restaurant staff could be a bit more efficient quite often napkins and food in trays were not topped up. Also the orange juice dispenser creeked all through breakfast depending on the amount of fluid in it, quite annoying.

The location is really close to the basilica. Perfect for the pilgrims travel, wheelchair is also available.

It is quite dark in the room, need some more lights. Other amenities like kettle and cups are not available in the room, but we could take it from the restaurant.

I’m only leaving a review because I want to mention one of the staff members Xavier he was absolutely amazing one of the nicest people I’ve ever meet helped my mom and I so much he honestly deserves a raise/promotion he went above and beyond for us 10 out of 10
