They helped us in some challenging situations with noisy Neighbours * Beds are comfortable and easy to sleep in. The blankets were also thin and to our liking * Laundry possibility is great. For $2 Wash and $1.75 drying this is really convenient. * Room service is done regularly and really well. Lydia took care of us on floor 14 and she was excellent. Super friendly, clean and thorough * Room Air Conditioning works well. The temperature doesn’t seem true in Celsius (23 fees like 19) but once you get the hang of it it is very convenient and comfortable * View from our room was also open and very nice. We could see a church and buildings near time square * Elevators are fast and efficient * Hotel is in front of the police precinct so you feel relatively safe

* Noise due to thin walls with adjacent rooms * Closet space very limited * Closet hanger style is not across which makes it very inconvenient to hang things. You have to hang things on top of each other * The furniture, carpets and surfaces are old and tired. Could use some refurbishing * Lobby’s temperature is not maintained and feels warm and stuffy * Breakfast options are limited for vegetarians and a lot of carbs and breads. Fruits and oatmeals ran out pretty early most of the time * Chelsea area is not the best in terms of noise, smell of cannabis, and generally garbage on the streets. Soho and 5th Avenue seem much cleaner, but that may be represented by the prices as well * Adding a swimming pool at this facility would make this perfect for my next stay

2 beds 140cm with comfortable matrices, modern bathroom, modern room overall. location 5min from subway 28th, 12min from time square. on the same street with 23rd police precinct, full of police cars. breakfast provided by starbucks on the ground floor (didn‘t use that) but may find better options at 2-3min walk on 7th avenue (fresh&co or sweet garden). 3 large elevators working well, fit for 6 people with luggages. the window can be opened in this hotel!

the street and all the area are extremely noisy, construction and maintenance workings everywhere, in the next building they were like working day and night making a kind of “transformers” movie noise when the dump truck was coming to collect the garbage (night or day!). the AC placed in the room close to the bed was pretty noisy as well. the hotel retains about 300usd as a guarantee which is released immediately (they say!) but actually the funds become again available back to your card in 14 working days!! similar experience in other 2 hotels in US! 900usd blocked on my card in total!! such practice never met in EU hotels I used!

We had booked a room through booking.com, according to their website 32 m2. Upon reception, which was not too friendly, it turned out it was only about 20 m2. Our stay was for 7 nights, so we couldn't agree with the statement of the hotel that "booking.com was responsible for this information" and "there ws nothing they could do about it". After some discussion a solution was offered: two nights in the smaller room and then an upgrade to a bigger suite. We accepted and didn't regret that. The upgraded room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Both George, the manager, and Adriana at the front desk did a great job and made an unsatisfied guest completely happy. The hotel itself is the perfect choice for a city trip: central location, close to public transport, not too busy neighbourhood, fair rates (to New York standards), free WiFi, good housekeeping. Problems can always occur, but what really matters is how you solve them. And they did a perfect job there!

There is no restaurant on site. The hotel is located on a side street. It's not far from the Main Street but still a dangerous street to walk down at night alone.

Our room was spacious, with a really big, wide bed, a small but efficient fridge, coffee/tea kettle, and a TV. We were also happy with the location, there are 2 metro stations nearby, as well as shops, food, and shopping options. The air conditioning is impeccable and quiet, the bathroom is spacious with fresh towels daily. In the hotel you can do your laundry, buy snacks, even use a microwave to heat up food. There is a police station opposite the hotel, so it felt pretty safe. Great for everyone, highly recommended!

The room was fine, the hotel is also ok but lacks the fun/chill attribute that can be find in other hotels in the near vicinity Also no bar, restaurants, coffee shops etc in the hotel. So what we did turn this into an opportunity to go to other nearby hotels, coffee shops ( the King's Street Coffee near the hotel offers a superb alternative to the hotel indore offering). However in rainy days this may be less fun

The street and neighborhood is somewhat not welcoming, No music, no food option (beside morning) in the lobby

nicely located walking distance to Empire State Building. Loved having Goldie’s Tavern attached and so accessible. Easy access for Ubers to pick up and let off. Starbucks in lobby is a big plus. The housekeeping lady responsible for the 4th floor was a delight and so pleasant! a true asset to the hotel! the two gentlemen working at the Starbucks were also phenomenal and made you feel comfortable and appreciated. Not sure if they are employed by Marriott or Starbucks but they are super friendly guys, and make great coffee!

Bathroom was a little worn. stains on grout.

Location is perfect. It is 30 meters (100ft) to 7th avenue, 7-8 minutes walk to Empire State and 13-14 minutes walk to Times Square. Being close to lower Manhattan, we had the chance to walk to Greenwich and Soho also, which has great cafes and restaurants. Compared to other hotels, i would say Courtyard Marriott has also a good value for money, as prices in eastern were crazy. Rooms are satisfactory, comfortably, and clean. I would definitely choose this hotel as an option in my future NY travels.

The room was quite spacious considering the price and in the heart of New York. The location is great, around the corner from Madison Square Gardens, a few blocks away from the nearest Subway and a few blocks from Times Square. I arrived quite early, and was able to check in straight away, also the lifts were really quick. There was also snacks available to purchase and a restaurant (I didn’t eat here, but nice to know it was available).

I felt the street was safe, but it was eerily quiet in comparison to the rest of NYC; it was also a little noisy - but I think you would get that anywhere in the heart of NYC.
