The bed is outdated and making noise

Location was brilliant - only a short walk to most attractions with bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Staff were excellent and went out of their way to make us feel welcome (there was a mix up with room type and even at 1am, our porter sorted it out). Parking and instructions were clear although my top tip for any fellow guests is to check the route on Street View - even pitch black in the middle of the night in the pouring rain, we knew what to look for 🤓. Breakfast was amazing - cooked fresh to order and plentiful. Can’t recommend this place enough and upon my return home found that my son had also stayed there just before Covid (and loved it as well 😁). ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Room decor was a little dated (although the carpets looked new) and not enough rum selection in the bar 😉. Stairs became an issue for my mother (as she is quite elderly) however I didn’t have any problems.

Everything about the hotel from the staff to the environment and the hotel interior was lovely. The room is huge and the bed is very nice and firm. The AC was working and the location is right in the centre of the city. It's really and amazing place to stay in Varna. The only thing that might be of a concern is that there were no sockets to charge your electronic devices. I had to disconnect the kettle and use its socket or the landline's socket.

Not much to complain really, maybe just the fact that we booked a room with a balcony, but they gave us without a balcony. However, after mentioning about it, they gave us a room with balcony. If I need to be nitpicking, that would be it. But it's not a big deal to me and it won't affect my overall impression.

I stayed at this comfortable, well located hotel for 7 nights - it is well positioned within easy walking distance of Varna's major attractions. My studio room was very spacious and well appointed, beautifully furnished with period peices. The a-la-carte breakfast offerings (included in my room rate) were great.

I was surprised to discover that only one bottle of complimentary water was supplied during my entire stay - it has been my experience in every other hotel I have stayed in that this is replenished on a daily basis. Also, I'd suggest going out for coffee, a long black at the hotel costs 6 lev!

- nice building, good location - very spacious rooms, clean and comfortable, well conditioned - good breakfast (ordered dishes included in breakfast price. Cold snacks rather limited selection)

- furniture needs some renovation - personnel looked polite, but as if they would like to get rid of us as soon as possible :)

Good location in the city center, convenient for work. Large rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is located in an antic building in the center of Varna. The owners gave it 5 stars for some reason - I would honestly give it 3! The hotel does not qualify for 5 stars. Once upon a time, he probably looked pathetic and presentable. But now everything looks depressing. The furniture in the rooms has traces of damage and has not been restored. The equipment is old. The elevator moves like a turtle. There is not even a bathrobe in the room - and this is a 5 star hotel!

I particularly enjoyed the location, and the parking just in front of the hotel (it's a public parking, not owned by the hotel, and subjected to availability). I have read several poor reviews of this hotel and I don't necessarily agree. I liked the room, the breakfast (although we have received a message from the hotel, about breakfast, which made us set quite low expectations :). We only stayed 2 days but I don't find the case for low expectations, I could say quite the opposite.

The bathroom needed some renovation. I could see the stains and damage from a previous leakage. The bathroom door was in a very bad condition. It's not very serious but not welcoming either.

I liked everything - the way the hotel looks, the spacious, but still cosy room, the hospitality.

I didn't like the way the parking at the municipality parking lot is organised. When you enter the hotel, the people tell you that the most you will pay is BGN 12 per 24 hours. But the situation is far not like that - each time you enter the parking, you have to pay. For 2 nights at the hotel I paid more than BGN 50!

We absolutely adore this hotel We were here in December 22,and loved it, and as my husband had his 70th birthday earlier this month I thought I know we're I can take him for a special treat, we had a 4 night break and had an upgrade to a jnr suite , just to make him feel extra special, and special it was we felt like a king and queen for the time we were there ❤️, the room was wow wow amazing and the staff were brilliant,nothing was too much trouble Well defo be back at some point this year love it And thank you all for making my husband special jubilee year so special for him xxxx

Having to leave 😕

Very beautiful (and old) building at the heart of Varna. Spacious rooms, retro style decoration. Very friendly staff ready to help with all that you need. Exceptional breakfast - the guests are presented with menu and can make a choice of variety of options which are prepared at the moment.

If you travel with a car parking can be a problem: there is no parking at the hotel but just in front of it there is municipal parking. During the day it gets very busy (due to the central location) and one might not find a parking place at the parking and need to look for parking in the neighbourhood.
