I've seen it in other reviews before I come her, so I wasn't surprised, but it would be nice to mop the floor more often.

We really loved the tiny croissants at breakfast. The hotel is beautiful and has very nice rooms. Rooms have inner and outer doors which keeps it private and quiet. We loved the breakfast room.

The TV was on the older side but we had a tablet so we just watched a movie on our laptop. It was Gothia cup when we stayed which made the area mayhem. Avoid staying during that time if you come by car. Parking was in the public carparks but the majority had height restrictions so we had to get directions from the staff to find a place we'd fit our car with roof-box. This is not the hotels fault but a thing to remember if driving.

I really liked the hotel, the price was awesome for the location. Super comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding with so many different options! Nice staff, we were allowed to leave our bags in the room 3 hours earlier than the checkin. It’s close to everything: bars, supermarkets, public transport and main streets and points of Gotemburg. If u wanna save money and get a good deal, I highly recommend City Hotell Avenyn!

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was immaculate, spacious, and had a breathtaking view. The amenities were 🔝 . The breakfast options were diverse and the food was delicious. Overall, our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations, and we can't wait to return

Great when you need to be in that central location

The scrambled eggs were cold and the bacon not that great. Otherwise a fine breakfast. Would have liked Kleenex and body lotion in the room

Breakfast start at 8....too late in my opinion. No coffee machine in the structure, no boiler in the room.

The location is excellent and the staff is extremely nice and polite . We had a lovely weekend . Thank you
