A nice motor inn. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. We asked for a quiet room and got one in the back row, far from the road - and a quick response about that to boot. The place is easy to find, next to the main road. The walls between the rooms are brick, so good soundproofing from the neighbours.

Check out is at 10 and at ten sharp the gentleman running the inn was at our door asking if we are leaving or staying on. It is his good right but we found that a bit intrusive. We were out of there eight minutes later and it really did not look as if the inn was booked out so the few minutes would have made a difference.

Yes this motel is not modern but it is in great condition and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail is what this place excels at. Not a mark on the well-kept carpets or varnished wooden walls. It has everything you need for your stay including a great BBQ area with fridge and even ice in freezer. The grounds were equally very well setup and maintained. I stay in a lot of pubs and motels and this motel should be regarded as a new benchmark. The breakfast packs are a great idea. Because of the layout you don't hear any road noise from the trucks on the highway. Well done. Ill be back...

Convenient location in the main Peak Hill street, close to the bowling club and the services club. Quiet (even though on the main road through town), very clean, comfortable bed with crisp sheets, spacious room. There is a fridge, microwave, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. Parking right outside your room. Very friendly manager and staff.

The fridge thermostat - it froze the milk.

Clean comfortable but dated 70's room at the rear of the site well away from the Newell Hwy. Well equipped kitchen cupboard. Older style room shy of handy bedside power points. Clean room smell upon entry. Lots of lighting with handy bedside controls. Fresh air dried linen. Towels lacked softness.

Rainy the night we arrived. Many V Dub trucks passing by, some noise from Newell Hwy apparent late at night even in the rear rooms. The barrel on the entry door lock was spinning, difficult to open the door. Staff notified on the 2nd last morning of our stay. No latch chain inside room a real privacy concern. Electric blanket worked on one side of the large double bed.. Bedding a little on the soft side but comfortable. Very low water pressure to hand basin. Hard to regulate the heat when showering. Small shower cubicle in spacious bathroom. Lots of hanging hooks. Shampoo and soap in dispensers.

I have travelled the world over many years and therefore feel qualified to rate accommodation. There are few hotels/motels that bring a smile to your face on entry. This is one of them.

This was a value for money, convenient and friendly property. They welcomed our last-minute booking and were happy to assist with "local" information on where to eat etc

Being on the highway, the units at the front of the property are prone to truck / road noise. We were appreciative of a bed so we couldn't complain!

The motel was not new but has been very well refurbished. The room was in excellent repair and well fitted out. The bed was comfortable and the extras such as crockery and cutlery is very useful.

I was not looking for anything not supplied.

Sadly, as it was 38 degrees, the room was very warm when we arrived, and it took many hours for the aircon to get it to temp. Maybe turning it on 2 hours before the guest check-in would help. Only a minor inconvenience we slept well.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable and just what we expected. We also liked the dispensers for shampoo etc in the bathroom rather than little individual tubes (but see also below).

The only real complaint we had (and the main reason we didn't give 10's for everything) was that the room air conditioner was very loud, but without it on things got a little stuffy. In our room at least, it definitely needs updating. A much smaller complaint is that while we did enjoy the bathroom dispensers, I have never liked body gel and really missed my soap!
