Everything was just as it should be, tight and very clean... And what has been current lately related to bed bugs, don't worry, we didn't find them in this hotel... all the best and a big greeting

Personally, I would have preferred the bathroom to have a shower instead of a tub, but that's not a big complaint, more like a wish. To be honest we would love to come back to this hotel again one day

The location was great, metro just up the road but we were happy to walk pretty much everywhere. Bars near by and a super bakery over the road for breakfast. The hotel itself wasn’t particularly modern but we don’t mind that as long as it’s clean. It was very comfortable, the reception staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were 2 adults and 2 older teens. We would stay there again 👍

The only downside for me was the WiFi that didn't work. I needed to work and had to use my cellphone data instead.

I will start by saying that the staff at this hotel are amazing!!!. We arrived earlier than anticipated (7am) and way to early for checking after an overnight travel. Our intention was to drop off our laugage so we can start exploring the city early, they saw we were extreamly tired so they let us check in early and no extra charge. Room was on the top floor and had a small balcony where we had a couple of our dinners. Room was really functional and clean. Restroom felt small but actually works perfectly. Liked the location a lot since it has a lot of places to eat and drink within walking distance, not to mention access to two metro lines. In all, a great stay due to a combination of convinient location, nice room, value but most of all, amazing staff. Will definitly stay there again!

Locations is great due to having access to two metro lines. Only issue is that I can feel a little bit unsafe at night since people are always roaming around the area. Can get a little loud at night, but is manageble.

Property is in central Paris. Metro is very close and you can reach your destination very easily.

Excellent location. Very close to the metro station. Republique is a very good location to stay at - lots of cafes and restaurants within easy reach. Staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful. The room was typically French - a lovely balcony looking out onto the street below. A fan was provided - it was hot while we were there. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was lovely - well worth the money. A good selection of food and all of it was really good quality.

Lovely and helpful staff and comfortable place with character in central location - a number of Metro lines are a 2 min walk, great for reaching all the sights. The rooms were fairly big and clean with comfortable beds. Would absolutely recommend.

The room provided the basics (en-suite, TV, coffeemaker and also a fan which was welcome in the summer heat) but no add-ons so for anyone planning on spending much time at the hotel this might not be the best pick.

It was very cute and comfortable and quite large compared to the previous hotel we were in. We were given 3 twin beds room. The location was great! Tons of restaurants, bakeries, and shopping all around the area. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and well stocked with towels, bath items, extra pillows and blankets if you needed, water kettle, coffee and tea. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was awesome! Very happy and please with our hotel room!

No wash cloths provided to bathe with. Bring your own, seems its not something provided in hotels in France. The internet wi-fi was very slow. That is about the only thing that was a bit discouraging, but minor things in my opinion.

The location was excellent well served by transport,restaurants, just off Place Republic but quiet and warm and all staff very friendly and accommodating.The twin room was smallish but really adequate for two close friends, plenty of wardrobe space for clothes and toiletries in the bathroom. So cosy and warm always. We were there to see the Mark Rothko exhibition and the hotel allowed us to stow our luggage even though we were checking out and when we collected we were able to use the sitting room to adjust what we needed for travelling home. We were both pensioners myself nearly 80 and my friend 76 so taking luggage up and down the metro might have been strenuous but we were lightly packed very adequately and had no trouble whatsoever. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Very little for our needs. We could have had breakfast in the hotel but decided in advance that we wanted to explore the area and find excellent coffee and pastries which we did. Our search included an artisan bakery less than five minutes away where everything was fresh and excellently tasty with good cafe creme and they even had excellent take away lunch which we took with us for the train!! We did not miss having a refrigerator in the room stocked with miniatures etc others might!! I would say that we had no complaints.

we love to stay in older style buildings when we can rather than larger, modern hotels. Hotel Meslay Republique is in a great location near a metro ( 5 min walk ), supermarket cafes, restaurants, pharmacy etc.Its more of an inner suburban area with lots of charm - just a quick trip into Paris itself. The hotel is on a quiet street and the beds were comfortable and the rooms a decent size with a well equipped bathroom. there is a small lift should you need to go up several floors. We weren't disturbed by noise from other rooms, or from outside - even on the evening there was a protest going on in the Place De Republique not far away. The staff we're friendly and very helpful. We did not have the breakfast but instead wandered over to a bakery across the road for pastries and coffee.

The charm of this hotel and the good location outweighed any negatives. There is no air con which would be a problem on a hot day i think, as the room was often stuffy when we got back in the afternoon. As it was autumn we would just open the windrow and cool the room down. There was a pedestal fan in the room. However, for those who care about such things some of the furniture was a not scuffed and there was some wear and tear on the carpet. there was a cream in the vain that did not affect is use and other little odd jobs that needed fixing at some point. The room was still lovely and not shabby on my opinion.
