The room and bathroom clean and well kept Garden was also nice. The breakfast was the best with variety of options to choose. Massage was also good

. . Their game drive. It's too expensive and they don't have anything to see they must cancel it or reduce the price. They must check their competitors like Letaba game lodge how they price their activities.

Returning to the Tzaneen Country Lodge for a second time was just as delightful as the first. The lodge continues to impress with its excellent facilities, including a welcoming restaurant, a cozy bar, a charming animal farm, as well as superb spa and massage facilities that enhance guests' relaxation. One of the highlights of the stay is the opportunity to enjoy a safari right on the lodge's farm. With zebras and giraffes roaming freely, it’s an unforgettable experience that brings you closer to Limpopo's stunning wildlife. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a restful stay. A big thank you to our housekeeper, Grace, for her excellent work. Another housekeeper even took a torn dress home to repair it — a thoughtful gesture that shows the dedication of the staff. This time, we were determined to leave a note to express our satisfaction. Tzaneen Country Lodge offers outstanding value for money, combining natural beauty, quality facilities, and exceptional service. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this lodge to anyone seeking relaxation and adventure in Limpopo!

The hospitality is fantastic, they cater to your every need with a swift response, high quality service with compassion and efforts that goes exceptionally above and beyond what is expected. The staff is fantastic and I applaud and give praise to the reception staff that handles everything with such humbling ease and provides clear, understandable and high quality service which is astounding. Room 50 is exceptional, I would recommend it for a romantic couple as well as their deluxe rooms which are also perfect for a family getaway suited for 2 adults and 2 kids. All rooms are very spacious and they have amazing bathtubs that have built in jets that function like a mini jacuzzi. The surroundings are nice, where you can get peace of mind and experience calmness and tranquility. Overall a great place to visit.

There are no microwaves in any room I have been too, so it is inconvenient when you have food that needs to be heated so mostly it gets wasted and you constantly have to order new food I would like to make a suggestion about the room coffee, that it should be replaced more regularly, maybe 3 times per day or be catered in advance for it or at least make sure that there is enough for the amount of guests per room for each day.

This was my second visit to the Lodge. I enjoyed it the first time (a couple of years ago) but, if anything, it was even better this time round. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and extremely good value. The pool was lovely (actually, there seem to be three of them!) The evening meal (a la carte) was delicious, the bar was lovely and the breakfast (included in the accommodation fee) was amazing: a buffet with a massive choice of fresh and cooked ingredients, juice, cereal, tea and coffee. I went for a short walk in the evening and immediately encountered two giraffes and a kudu cow, and then, two minutes later a pair of bushbuck. There was plenty of spoor around too - notably that of zebra (which I saw on my last trip), and the frog and bird calls were lovely. Vervet monkeys come into the accommodation area so you'll almost certainly see these on your visit. Added to all this, the staff were great!

My father thought the coffee could have been stronger, but then one could have as much as one wanted, so I don't consider it a major issue.

Very neat property. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant, comfortable beds. Our waiter was so friendly - even served us drinks in the pool. My daughter chipped a nail and tried the spa last minute to see if they can rescue. The lady at spa fit her in and fixed the nail even though it was late already. The waiter knew about that and had a regular check in with us at the pool to see if my daughter back yet to serve her as well. One of the children don't eat early breakfast and they packed him a breakfast box to eat later.

One room's shower could do with a proper clean

Breakfast was great. The bar was lovely. Lazarus is a world class bar man. Great conversationalist and great with people. From now on I will enjoy my Jameson with Ginger Ale not lemonade. Lazarus recommended I try it this way. Lemonade is too sweet. Kills the alcohol. I will always have this way from now on.

Maintenance took very long to attend to our problem with the sink. But otherwise we had a whale of a time. Great destination. Large rooms. Value for money.

The breakfast was great

I ddnt like the fact that some food is not replaced during the breakfast buffet. For example you would go for breakfast around 9 and find fruits and yogurt finished with no one to refill. Also, we went to the bush drive. As decent people that we are, we offered the driver food so that we can all share. The driver became inconsiderate and ate all our food, he ate all our samosas and everything that was in the plate. We were shocked but we forgive him, maybe he was just too hungry

My second time here was much better than the first. Stayed in larger rooms a bit further from the main block which was nice. The staff were very friendly and we really appreciated the suggestion to make breakfast packs as we would miss breakfast at the hotel due to an early appointment. The breakfast packs were awesome and dinner the previous was great.

The pathways are a bit uneven and not too well lit. I had also forgotten how far out of town it was.

The environment is so beautiful and peaceful, full of nature and i loved how the houses have their own swimming pools. I loved the gym facility and hiking as well, got to see different trees duting the hike. Their breakfast was so delicious and it was more than enough. I'm definitely coming back.

The environment is perfect for relaxing. The property is well maintained. The food was good. The rooms were clean.

I booked for an extra large room but that was not available on my first night. They moved us to a room I booked for on day 2. The room was nice and spacious but because it wood flooring you could hear people walking throughout the night and in the morning which made it difficult to sleep for me. The food i also thought was expensive.
