This is a really beautiful , gracious property . The decor is elegant and we loved all the artwork. Nice touches like water and sherry for our enjoyment. Sue and Jonathan made us feel very much at home. They allowed us to leave our bags at the property before check in and also after check out. The room is huge, airy with a wonderful comfortable bed. Nice coffee and tea making facilities. A spacious bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat - a wonderful view and a delicious selection of hot and cold breakfast items to enjoy. Very good coffee too. Free parking in a secure location. We were made to feel so comfortable and well looked after. I only wish we'd had more time there to enjoy it all!! Also very close to Boulders Beach and walking distance in to the cute town. We'll be back and thank you!

Nothing - everything was wonderful!!

Everything well-appointed.One large bedroom had a magnificent view and its own balcony with outdoor sofa, the other smaller bedroom had little view but a magnificent bathroom with its own small balcony and view. Excellent breakfasts. A good choice of continental and cooked breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and cereal, toasts eggs, etc. on a veranda with a wonderful view of the Bay. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

Door knobs in the smaller bedroom had protruding screws, a potential danger of scratching ones arms. This was reported to staff and will no doubt be fixed.

Spacious, very clean, welcoming staff. Use of downstairs lounge and balcony and outdoor area. Breakfast was lovely sat on balcony. We could see the whales in the bay. Sue & Jonathon were very good. Would definitely come again

The only reason I marked down one star in location is the stairs. There are some going up to the property from street level but if you decide to take the short cut walking down to the town, there are lots 😩

Beautiful views over Simonstown convenient private and safe . Close enough to walk to and from Town . Well decorated. Lovely balcony and rooms all with ensuite . We were a family of 5 in 4 bedrooms. 2 of the bedrooms had balconies the others enjoyed terraces. One leading to pool.

This is a truly fantastic place to stay in Simons Town. Located on a hill overlooking the ocean, it catches a nice cool breeze. It is easy to walk into town and to Boulders Beach. The room is very comfortable with a number of thoughtful touches such as fresh milk, ground coffee, and a few biscuits that are so appreciated after a long trip. The breakfast is exceptionally good, with a variety of cooked options, fruit and yoghurt. The owner and staff are kind and welcoming and the whole place has an aura of tranquility that is very relaxing.

The breakfast was great,Jonathan is super helpful,but so are all the staff,I was a bit unwell in my first few days and everyone really cared about my wellbeing.I felt at home to be honest.

The staff - Johnathan was very nice, friendly and helpful with directions, tips on what to do in the area, helped us order in some dinner as it was a rainy cold evening. Johnanthan had the fire going in the fireplace in the lounge area which felt nice, homely and created a great atmosphere. The breakfast was nice, You have both cold and hot breakfast. The views at breakfast were epic! Luckily the rain briefly stopped, we got to enjoy breakfast outside- enjoying the view. It's a stone throw away from the town and the penguin colony, and a beach nearby (walkable distance). It's nice, quiet and peaceful.

The plugs are a bit far from the bed, you can't charge your cellphone/ gadgets while in bed. there's no extention cord. Too many steps, I wouldn't recommend it for people with heavy luggage, bad knees or older.

Comfortable and well situated, we were warmly greater by Jonathan upon arrival and felt very welcome. Beautiful views from the room and the breakfast terrace. We stayed for one night but would come back again. Nice breakfast, prepared with care. Thank you!

Peaceful and quiet. Good breakfast. Sue was friendly and very helpful in meeting immediate needs. Jonathan and his team were friendly and very reliable.

Fantastic view, lovely staff, great breakfast

Not the guest houses fault but the traffic to get to Simon’s Town was awful. We had to stay closer to the airport the second night because of the exceptionally slow commute.
