The hotel had a lot of character and a comfortable BNB feel. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of Assisi rooftops and the countryside. The breakfast/tea room was a lovely touch. We were able to make cappuccino's in the afternoon before exploring Assisi. Breakfast had a nice variety...breads, sweets, meat and cheese, yogurt, fruit, cereal and all variety of coffee/ teas. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic location, close to all the sights. The hotel is in a historic building, and very comfortable. Lovely, clean rooms, a beautiful common room with a gorgeous view over Assisi. It was a pleasure to deal with Stefano, who was very easy to communicate with, and who provided all the information via text, prior to my arrival. The staff at the property were lovely - very helpful and obliging. Nice breakfast. I loved this hotel and will definitely be back, when I'm in Assisi again! Highly recommended.

I loved everything about this hotel.

Centrally located with a beautiful sitting room with great views on the top floor. The room was clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced.

We liked everything about the property. Our only suggestion is that it would help to mention that the hotel is a bit hard to find since there are no signs for it on the ground floor. It’s necessary to look up a flight of stairs to see the sign for the hotel.

Slept very well due to the foam mattresses. Great central location to most of the churches/basilicas. Good range of nearby eateries and shops. Great breakfast as well as afternoon coffee/cakes. Bathroom towel was probably one of the best, just soaks the body dry! Lovely sitting area upstairs, able to catch some great rooftop and sunset views. Interesting and artistic decor throughout the hotel.

Great location, service, room, a very pleasant place I would visit again. The bathroom is nice, so are the breakfast and the afternoon tea. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location allows for the exploration of all the important places in Assisi.

I have not really seen negatives, maybe with the exception of the walls being thin, but it was not that much of a problem.

The room was very clean, It had a very good air conditioner which was needed as the temperature was higher than normal for the time of year that we were there.

The shower area was open to the entire bathroom. There was no raised area at the edge of the shower floor to keep in the water or not even a shower curtain. The water from the shower made the bathroom floor very wet, so it was not comfortable to use. Nowhere in the description of the room did it say that the shower was not contained in any way.

The hotel is charming and the rooms are nicely furnished in an old fashioned way. It is located at the top of the town where most of the restaurants and things to see and do are located with the exception of the Franciscan church. Breakfast was perfectly nice and served in a nice room at the front.

Location and ambience were great…staff were exceptionally helpful prior to arrival and during the stay…good breakfast with some variety. Have provided a high rating for what appears to be a mid-priced/rated accommodation. Would try to stay again should I return.

as others have said, the bathroom is quite small and the shower is not enclosed.

The hotel is in the very centre of this amazing town, a few steps from the main square and the cathedral. The room was small, but quite comfortable. The host communicated quickly and efficiently. The breakfast was all fine and I appreciated that I could leave my luggage in the hotel after check-out.

The bathroom could use a reconstruction and a better solution for the shower should be found. This way, without any screen, there was water everywhere, even if I tried to avoid it (I soaked the toilet paper, too).
