This was my first time staying at a Hyatt Hotel the property nice, the lobby was great. Now let’s talk about the front desk staff, from the time we walked in they greeted us with smiles. The front desk staff were always very polite and professional. If I could describe the front desk staff I would say Outstanding. I will definitely be staying there again and referring all of my family and friends. Thank you to the Hyatt front desk staff.

I think the bathroom tubs could be updated to beautiful walk in showers.

Great location in historic downtown Sumter. We were in town visiting our son whose is in the Air Force, It's a close drive to Shaw AFB and we liked this location better than staying in the busier part of town. Hotel service was great and friendly. Liked the parking garage there. Very safe area to walk around. We walked across the street for coffee in the morning and there is another coffee shop just down the street too. Walked to the Sumter brewery (bar type food, huge place, lots on tap), Sidebar (the food here was awesome!), JO Grady's (good cheap drinks), Hampton's (didn't go, but patio bar looks awesome, fancier type place), Main Street tavern is right next door (rowdier crowd and cheap drinks). Places close early, are open only for lunch than dinner, and some are closed Sunday, Monday, or Tuesdays so make sure you check the times for places. Great antique stores on the block also. Enjoyed our stay here and would stay again next time we are in Sumter.

Breakfast bar was ok. Would have liked more fresh fruit and non dairy options.

I first love the location of the hotel it's in a nice town with the convince of stores. Next the hotel room was nice and spacious for my family. The room was clean. For the price I felt it was good and everything was very nice and comfortable. What you call Southern Comforts!!

The blinds are electric blinds would have like to of known how to use them like a sign or manual. I eventually figured it out but,nevertheless I do still feel like the hotel was awesome!!

Location was central to everything downtown. Loved the brewery right across the street. Very clean and modern. Appreciated the law enforcement presence in that area.

Wish there were microwaves in the rooms, rather than having to go outside near the elevators. Also would’ve liked to have coffee and water available throughout the day in the lobby.

Facility and accommodations were wonderful! Staff was extremely professional and pleasant

Our only disappointment was the sofa bed where our nine year old grandson was to sleep. When we pulled it out, the linen was wrinkled and had not been changed.And we found were hair pins on the sheets. We however, contacted the front desk and she took care of the problem immediately!

With the exception of our Sunday breakfast, all aspects of our stay were very strong. The downtown location is wonderful. The room was great and my wife loved the shower design and operations. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

The Sunday breakfast was the only dissatisfying aspect during our 1-night stay. After trying the scrambled eggs and ham which were tired and tasteless, my wife and I elected to visit a nearby breakfast place in Sumter, Eggs Up Grill, after our hotel checkout.

Well I didn't get to experience the breakfast because my family wanted something different, but the staff were really nice and very friendly I and my family were very pleased with our stay.

Everything was on point, just continue to do what you are doing.

I checked out in November 26,2022 and Booking stated that they emailed you all directly and no response. Someone called me to verify that I checked out in November 26,2022 but I don't know why they are not communicating with booking. This is frustrating me because they are saying it would take 24hrs and it has been. 5 days and nothing. I hate to have to dispute this transaction in order to get some cooperation. This is horrible.

Beautiful location and convenient

the Hyatt is a well known name. I hv some suggestions. The room needs paint at the entrance hall way. Spiderwebs r over the couch. I would suggest a larger tv (Smart) one. Hallway doors are loud (maybe a softer closer) Mattresses need to replaced you can feel the wiring in the edge. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself.

Location was superb, close to everything & clean.

The breakfast was sub par. The selection was not very desirable. The attendant was not very friendly. It would be nice if there was an actual microwave in the room not on the hallway..
