I loved the decor and the location

We definitely would have liked a TV. We had problems disposing our rubbish. There were Wesley bins outside but these were locked. In the end we had to leave them outside for someone to take. We would have liked our towels and tea/coffee replenished. We would have liked to have been able to access on to the quay via the boat park but the fence was locked and so we had to walk around via the high street. Found issues trying to find a cafe for breakfast . The only one open was the Bistro on the Quay, which didn’t open until 9.30am

Bearing in mind this is room only accommodation without many of the typical features of a hotel (if you are looking for breakfast, room service, slippers / bathrobe etc then this isn’t the place for you) However if you are looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay that is family friendly (I used a family room that was great for me and kids e joyed the bunk bed) then this place is ideal. Clean, comfortable with friendly and welcoming staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Room was a little dusty however overall it felt clean.

Great location with free off street parking. Just make sure you give registration on arrival. Lovely first floor room which was very nicely furnished and beautifully clean. They kindly let me checkin early. Immediately booked a second night as the area was so delightful and my room was very calm and peaceful. Car parked just outside which is always a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nothing I didn’t like. Could of had a place to hang a few clothes and maybe a coffee table.

It was very clean and the room was a good size for a family of four. The costa machine in the room was a great bonus to our stay in the room. Most importantly, the beds were very comfy.

I opened up a milk pot but it had separated. The other ones we used were perfectly fine, so I think this was just an unfortunate as everything else in the room was perfectly clean and cared for. The only change I would make is a fan in the summer months.

Near to venue clean and tidy

On day of check out which was advised as 11.00 we went out for breakfast returned back at 9.45 to finish off checking out only to find the cleaner coming out surely the way the rooms are identified as empty is when the key is posted in box as advised this shows the guests have left not happy that we were having to leave at 9.45

Great price and quiet location.

With two people booked into a double room, why only one chair? We used a picnic chair that we had in the back of the car. One chair seems to be the policy in many places, which is daft. Also, the message notifying them that the sink was blocked was not responded to.

Not knowing what to expect as not visited before. Location excellent Rooms excellent with all one needs ( except tele did not work but do not always manage controls as was not to bothered to put on. Excellent decor ( colour, prints ) Highly recommend and you can get breakies round about

Right place, right price and very comfortable.

There was some confusion over the room booking, the room we had booked was double booked and we were not provided with key collection instructions. The caretaker answered our call for help and he summoned the staff in from home to sort the issue quickly and efficiently.

Great location and local amenities/food options. Great free parking on site and next to the river Crouch. Staff were friendly.

No clean cups on day two for coffee and coffee machine needed maintenance. Perhaps place frosted window film inside see-through door glass, as the roller blind didn't fit.

Comfortable room for the family for 1 night.

Did not find the window above the door until we were leaving as a blind was pulled down and covered it. It was very warm. Could not afford a 2nd night stay. Think it was £86 for one night but would have been nearly £400 for 2 nights.
