Great value property in excellent location. Well managed property - with spacious bedroom. The property is full of character.

Whilst bedroom was spacious it lacked enough lighting to read - furthermore the room also lacked useful storage space. The breakfast was held across road next to river - the offerings were adequate - but they could be more varied. Wasn't helped that coffee machine vanished after first day

I lived my staying in Sala Prabang! Very stilish, well decorated, charming and cozy as a hotel boutique. Very comfortable. Only two blocks to the main street and not noisy. It’s great a view from the balcony to the river and the breakfast just beside the river. The owner is amazing and attentive.

The water in the shower didn't have much pressure, the shower could be better.

It's right on the main road along the river. You can wake up in the morning and look at the Mekong river. There are nice selection of restaurants to choose from in just few steps away. The colonial building is nicely kept as it was to keep the charm of the house.

The shower area need a deep cleaning especially the shower area; there are visible molds on the lower side of the shower. The breakfast was in a nice place but the food was not interesting, just cereal bowls and some fruits.

It's very good location and comfortable room there. It's not historical interior but very nice. Nice view to the Mekong river hidden in the trees but anyway it's nice.

There was no breakfast at all but there was no breakfast also in any other places so maybe it's ok. For breakfast better to go not to the closest restaurant but the next to it on the left from from the entrance on the river bank. Or any other in the city, just not the opposite one.

Cleanliness, Bed, Bathroom

Good location, good sized room with comfortable beds.

Shower was a pain. Pillows enormous, so not comfortable. The staff were not particularly friendly, and cleaning staff annoyed we didn't go out before 10.30am. We thought it was a bit expensive and found better in the area.

Centrally located with old world charm; non-pretentious and homey. Loved the wood ceiling, floors and doors. The staff was extremely cordial and friendly. The breakfasts were very good and the atmosphere of the outdoor restaurant across the street was wonderful.

My room could have used a small desk to use as a place to charge my phone, iPad and camera batteries. The hotel is right on the main street so you do have to deal a little bit with the noise from passing cars and music from some of the waterfront restaurants along the river, but this is a minor nit.

I booked Sala Prabang for its location along Mekong river bank not far from the main street. My room with a riverview balcony fits the criteria. The open-air lobby lounge at the main building gives an extra space to relax if you don’t want to go out. Breakfast is served at the riverside terrace across the hotel. There were plenty of choices: rice soup, egg and sausage, yogurt, bread, juice and coffee.

If the hotel room had a door chain lock, it could provided a safer feeling. Luang Prabang is a very safe town though.

Great location with views of the river. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was served over the road overlooking the river. Property is an easy walk to the night markets and is surrounded by restaurants shops and galleries. Our rom had a balcony overlooking the street and river and was a great location for a beer in the afternoon I would stay here again.

Absolutely great value for the money , great location , clean , good AC , view on the Mekong - lovely place that I absolutely recommend
