The view was magnificent. We woke up and were greeted by a beautiful lake view with Mount Yobetsu in the background. At night, the fireworks could be viewed comfortably from the room. Having an onsen in hotel meant we could relax whenever is convenient. The indoor and outdoor pools were great. If you like to sneak in a run, the 2km long waterfront promenade is perfect. I did a 5K at 10pm and it was so peaceful. Even that late, there were still people about. Lastly the hotel staff helped celebrate our wedding anniversary milestone with cakes. That was such a lovely gesture and made our stay memorable.
The hotel TV was an older model so no casting, no YouTube. Just used our devices.

This resort is huge and there were many tour groups that checked in. With a large crowd, we were prepared for chaos and a school canteen feel during dinner and breakfast. However, we were surprised that the dining hall was spacious and there were food options were widely spread out. Throroughly enjoyed their seafood section where they had a wide array of sashimi for you to choose and make your own chirashi don. We liked their onsen as well especially the one on the top floor with a beautiful view of Lake Toya.
The hotel is renovating one of its wings, so the onsen in that wing was impacted with the scaffolding. But apart from that, we have no issues with this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect, my room overlooks the lake with a very nice view during the day and fireworks at night. I can lie comfortably on my bed and enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Toya and Mount Yotei. Although the furniture is quite old, the room is very spacious and comfortable. It is really a very pleasant experience to have a bath in the hot springs with a view of the lake and the mountains. The dining room is huge and also overlooks the lake. Even though there are a lot of group tourists, the staff can get you a table within minutes. Both Western and Japanese food is very plentiful, and I am already full before I try any more delicious food.
When I ask the canteen staff for help in heating the cold milk, they tell me that there's no microwave in the kitchen. There is no bath in the bathroom, which may be inconvenient for guests who prefer not to use public hot springs. The sink is located opposite the bed, which feels a bit unusual.

The great location hotel, it's next to Lake toya which we can enjoy lake view from our rooms. The room is suitable for 3 adults with adequate facilities inside. The bed is comfy and clean, staff will made it ready while we are away for dinner. The onsen is good, not many pools to rest yet it's good enough to relax. The breakfast is good as well but the queue is a bit long with the limited time since their last serve is around 8.45am-9.00am and they make our breakfast to start at 7.30am.
It is crowded on the day we stay, and have to wait for the breakfast that must finish within 60mins. make us rush to eat since we waste about 10-15mins.

The location is excellent. Fireworks are right outside the hotel. The onsen on the upper floor is an infinity pool looking out to Lake Toya. Perfect for viewing fireworks. The onsen at the basement floor has a tranquil garden settings. Both onsen offers free massage chairs. Huge 2L water was provided free. The hotel cafe has an amazing view of the lake
The property and the room are dated. Still use keys for the room and the deposit box. TV is not smart TV and only has Japanese channels. The bathroom is extremely small. The breakfast buffet food is just average and because the hotel is used by tour groups so the restaurant was really crowded.

I had booked a twin room to have a lake view and was not disappointed, room was very spacious and the view was pleasant. Breakfast buffet was good and the gift shop had a very nice selection of local goods. Staff were very helpful, let me use some scissors to open some packaging. Convenient location for the bus to Toya station. Lake-side outdoor area was very nice, close to the nightly fireworks.
I could not find an air conditioning control to adjust the temperature and it felt too warm. When I instead went to open a window, they did not have any latches to prevent them opening completely wide open, which I did not want (too much wind, noise, and chance for crows to enter). The lighting was strange, it felt too dim in the large room. Guest area near the lobby had a tea dispenser but not a free coffee machine. I had hoped with the lake view room that it would be on a higher floor, much of the view was obscured by trees.

The Onsen is really fantastic, multiple baths to experience and a very luxurious Sauna. The hotel felt exceptionally busy especially for a weekday. The fireworks display was really gorgeous, the town was cute and the scenery surrounding the hotel is perfect for relaxing. Room was also much larger then expected for the price. Not flashy but well kept and plenty of space to lounge.
Check-in was a little hectic, long line all at once with tour buses coming in. Additionally breakfast was very diverse in offering but felt overwhelming with the size of facilities and not such clear layout for picking items.

Room clean and spacious, staff was friendly. Food was alright - typical buffet standard. The view from hotel was amazing from the lobby.
Room was a little hot, and view was not as great as we booked the mountain view room. We had to walk quite a distant from the lobby to the lift, and from the lift to our room.

Got a deluxe room with lake view at a very discounted rate as we had to book at short notice. The room was clean and had a fantastic view of the lake and the fireworks from the bed The onsen was exceptional - clean, spacious and facing the lake The buffet dinner had a wide spread of dishes Staff could speak english and were helpful in getting taxis around the area if you are considering this vs Lake View Toya Nonokaze: I would recommend this hotel if the prices are lower/comparable Although dated, the staff service was welcoming and the view of the lake and onsen facilities were superior
The rooms were dated and could do with a revamp

We booked our rooms with half board meals included. The breakfast & dinner have wide spread of different types of dishes, from Japanese to Chinese & Western food. All are delicious & the seafoods were very fresh. The hotel is located next to the lake & has a wonderful view of the fireworks display every night. Has sufficient parking spaces just next to the hotel. Staffs are friendly & helpful. Onsen pools are large & has indoor & outdoor pools. The 9th storey pool has a fantastic view of the lake & mount Yontai.
