Lovely garden right next to the canal. Service extends to the lawns, too . Connecting rooms were very convenient. Rooms are comfy and cosy. The hotel is a short walk away from Vondelpark and the tram runs nearby too

We loved the rooms and the breakfast was very tasty. We had a situation in our room where there was a major leak coming from the floor above and staff dealt with it immediately and moved us to another room, while also giving us our room service on the night of our arrival for free, as compensation. We thought their service was absolutely amazing and would stay again just for that reason!

The location was a bit out of the way, but the positive side of that was that it was very quiet at night, which was great.

I found the bed very hard - needs a good mattress topper. I have a bad back and found it difficult to sleep.

Great Hotel from the lovely 1950’s Lounge music that you hear when entering the lobby. To the friendly and very helpful staff! And the lounge was also amazing with a great fireplace and super delicious fresh drinks and bites and nibbles! Then there is the room which is just divine! Great soft pillows , very good amenities! The breakfast exceeded our expectations again with great care everything was done , it really felt like I was in America in a super luxurious hotel. Because normally this kind of service and hospitality is not so common in dutch hotels! 10 out of 10 rating!

The room was clean and it had a superb view of the town. We loved the location, we had easy access to appollan street which was dreamy and great for walking. I loved the gym which was well equipped and clean.

I didn't appreciate The fact that the hotel charged a lot for every bottle of water served to our room. If you choose this hotel, make sure to get plenty of water for your daily needs otherwise it's not worth it at all.

Clean, bike rentals, and friendly staff

The location isn’t close is somehow 15 mins walk away from cafes/restaurants. An elevator broke down causing queues, staff refused to allow us use stairs despite room being in floor 1. TV lacks smart functionalities (no casting, YT, etc)

Pretty much everything was excellent as regards to helpful staff, cleanliness. Breakfast service was very good. We didn't avail of the evening dining, so can't comment on that. Would have liked to have been able to open our windows for fresh air in the bedroom, but understand this is more of a safety measure.

Having to pay €10.00 for one pint of beer. We would have availed of the bar service if it was more reasonably priced. Instead, we purchased beer from a local store and drank them in our room. For price paid, there should also be better television channels available--they were mainly Netherlands, and no sport channels.

Everything was perfect!The room was really nice, clean, spacious, with great view and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is close to the city center, and there is a bus stop within 3 minutes walk. The breakfast was very good (great omelette) and the girl in the reception in the breakfast room was so kind and lovely. We even had some little surprises, because we were in our honeymoon, and we are so grateful for that!!!Thank you Hilton Amsterdam....you made our stay unforgettable!

This was a great hotel! It was off the beaten path in regards to the central part of Amsterdam, making for a nice, quiet retreat to return to at night. We had to travel a little further to get to the main attractions each day, but it was still only about a 15-20 minute walk to reach most everything we wanted to get to. And you could rent bikes if you wanted to, making it even quicker to get downtown.

We wish they would have had an ice machine.
