We cannot express just how amazing our stay was at Viaggio Elegant Rooms. The team here are excellent and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. It is one of the cleanest, if not the cleanest place we have stayed. It is located in the heart of old town Chania, excellent location and on such a beautiful street. Attractive and nicely equipped rooms right in the centre of the old town. We arrived later than we anticipated and were greeted by a most welcoming and very attentive host. We stayed on the second floor in a spotless and very comfy room whose substantial double-glazed windows ensured that the vibrant acoustics of Chania's streets did not disturb us at night. Stayed for four nights - would happily recommend the property to anyone thinking of a trip to this amazing town.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is a perfect base in Chania Old Town - and very comfortable all round ( immaculately clean and tidy, large comfortable bed, central location, pristine bathroom, everything we needed). Katerina is very experienced and professional, and there is a calm, kind and gentle atmosphere. We had the uppermost room with the balcony this time, and was lovely to have that outdoor space. We are happy to have discovered it, as we travel to Chania regularly.

We couldn't have dreamed of a better place for a trip for two. The facility is located in the most beautiful street we have seen in Crete, a few steps from the port of Chania. The host is very nice and helpful. We recommend a room with a balcony, the view is like from old movies, very atmospheric and with restaurant tables underneath. The room was very clean, all the furniture was new and cosy. Bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. At night you can hear life in the old town, but very gently, it is a very nice ambient for sleeping. I recommend it to all romantics and fans of atmospheric places! Can't wait to come back!

The location is unbeatable, the rooms were perfect, and the host the kindest of all I had. This is definitely a must stay when you visit Crete. I can’t imagine having stayed anywhere else for my time there and wouldn’t even consider staying elsewhere when I return- it’s that great.

The ONLY thing I didn’t like was the pillows- but they were exactly the same caliber as most hotel pillows. Expect a hotel pillow (too soft) and you should be good.

Every aspect of our stay was impeccable, exceeding all of our expectations. The Greeks are typically known for their outstanding credentials in hospitality and it’s fair to say that our host Katriana sits at the top of the tree in this respect. In her own words, “hospitality is not something you can study; it comes from the heart” and this is something that you get a real sense of when visiting Viaggio. Well, all I can say is I loved it! I would highly highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone visiting Chania. Not only is the location wonderful and the rooms beautiful. The absolute best feature of the hotel is the owner, Katerina. Such a kind-hearted person that goes above and beyond for anyone. I already cannot wait to stay here again and strongly suggest you to book here also. When it came to check-out day, Katerina organised a taxi service, had our luggage brought downstairs from our room, and had someone take our cases to the car (between certain times no cars are allowed in the main streets so had a little walk to the taxi). Just unbelievable!

This is a lovely small hotel in the old town of Chania at an excellent location with many restaurants and other attractions around. The location though central is quiet. The lady manager Katerina was very kind and helpful. The room was large, nicely decorated. The bathroom was also large enough and well equipped. The double bed was very comfortable. Refrigerator is available in the room as also a kettle and an espresso machine. We were welcomed in the room with a sweet and a raki.

The hotel does not offer breakfast but there are many choices at the old port of Chania 300 meters away from the hotel. There is no elevator in the building but this is expected since the hotel is in an old venetian building. Katerina helped us with the luggage to the second floor (the top floor).

Viaggo is extremely well located in a quiet street right in the middle of the old town. The rooms are very clean and very well decorated, and Katerina is an excellent host. She is super friendly and helped us book taxis for day trips and airport transfers. She also provided us with an excellent map with a long list of recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, cafes and bars. Although there are only a few apartments in the building, Katerina makes you feel like you’re in a full service hotel - she leaves you welcome treats and drinks, the fridges are restocked with bottled water every day, and rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and toiletries if you need them.
