I am on a Scottish golfing holiday and this hotel provided a perfect facility and close to all of the notable golf courses in the Aberdeen district. Other than being a convenient locality, the food offering was exceptional (for a golfer) - good breakfast offering and a varied dinner menu. In addition to the food offering, the staff were both professional, efficient and friendly. Finally the manager of the facility was most obliging and flexible to accomodate the needs of a golfer

A very professional welcome to this lovely hotel from the owners, Mario and Raj. Escorted to the room, to see that everything met my needs, which they did. Spotlessly clean, a very comfortable double bed, large bath with overhead shower, large TV, and ample tea and coffee supplies. All staff were very pleasant, friendly and attentive. A lovely cooked breakfast in the morning set me up for my onward journey. Great value for money, and I will certainly stay here the next time I'm in the area.

Mario was an exceptional host who went out of his way to make sure everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The room was very clean and comfortable and I had everything I needed. The room was lovely and warm. The staff were accommodating and helpful and did extra things like carrying my case out to my car and providing extra bottles of water to drink. The breakfast was tasty and I was given a generous portion. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go here again.

On arrival greeted by Kiah who showed us to our room and waited to ensure the key worked. A lovely young woman who was happy, enthusiastic and wanted to help; inspirational! Mario, who was front of house, couldn't do enough for us. Range and quality of food was quick frankly staggering for a village pub / hotel: what a little gem!! Will stop here everything we come to Aberdeenshire.

I arrived after a long drive. I caught the restaurant with only 3 minutes of service left. Not a problem. I also wanted to eat in my room. Again, not a problem. I was shown to my room (separate building to reception), my case was carried for me. Food was then brought to my room within 15 minutes. Piping hot, and delicious. Room was an excellent size. Bed was big and comfortable. TV was massive. Everything was clean. Free WiFi.

I can only mention the shower. It was scalding hot. I tried every combination of adjusting the taps. In the end I had the cold on full, with nothing from the hot, and it was still red hot! I only stayed one night, so wasn't a major issue, but would need addressing for a longer stay

The location is excellent , in a quiet seaside village a couple of minutes from the amazing Balmedie beach but just off dual carriageway for easy access to Aberdeen City and shire. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. There is an excellent bar and restaurant as part of the hotel. Delicious fresh food. The staff were all friendly and a special mention for Mario who was so welcoming and helpful

Everything.Mario and his staff exceeded our expectations with their hospitality.They all went that extra mile to make our stay amazing. The rooms were very good .clean and comfortable and the food was amazing.fantastic service.The barstaff were all very professional.Overall I will be booking again .This was a great location for me to visit family.

Everything was excellent. There was nothing to dislike.

There's a private car park with plenty of space. I was In a commercial vehicle and managed to park up easily. The bar is really nice with a good selection of drinks and the food was excellent. Staff are really friendly and attentive. They even opened up early for breakfast so that I could get to my first delivery on time. The room was nice and clean with a comfy bed.

The host was very helpful and accommodating. Our flights were delayed and we arrived much later than scheduled. He was there to meet us upon arrival, all the facilities had already closed but he insisted on making us some food and reopened the bar - I was gasping for a pint!! The room was very comfortable and clean. We were regularly asked if we were happy or needed anything. Total value for money and would definitely return.

The property has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Everything you need is provided within the room. The restaurant and bar are beautifully decorated to make guests feel comfortable. The staff are exceptional and they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and special. They were friendly, conversational and their service was wonderful.
