The property was booked on its convenience for the P and J arena. It is very close. A c 5 minute walk. The staff without exception were very friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange breakfast on arrival despite it not being in our rate. Pleased we did as it was very good. Smallish continental buffet but the cooked breakfast was made to order and it was excellent. Arrived quickly, generous quantity and everything was piping hot. Nice bar area and excellent staff there also.

Our room overall felt small. It was very clean but it’ had only a double bed and there isn’t a lot of spare space at all. You have to move a chair to access the tea making facilities.

From arrival to departure staff were friendly helpfully & smiling The standard room tho small was spotless & all we required for an overnight stay at the P&J Arena with wet room shower/toilet comfy bed & tea/coffee machine There is ample parking & the P&J Arena is only a short walk away Our dinner albeit from a reduced Theatre Menu still had plenty choice & was lovely The breakfast was first class, no queuing at a buffet or toasters.... all delivered freshly cooked to your table & again a good selection on the menu. Juices/cereals/pasties were laid out to select should you want From now on this will be our hotel of choice before the Hilton or Aloft at the P&J Arena & also it is wonderful to know that this is still a family run hotel

Nothing everything was spot on

The divided room with a bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs - v good for 3 of us. The food was GREAT. Ate evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast. Really good quality ingredients, well-cooked, best hotel brek we've had in quite a while. The staff were LOVELY. Such nice, helpful receptionists, restaurant and bar staff friendly, patient, unflustered. Seems to be a well-run place.

The beds... *sigh*. The normal bed, this is — too narrow (it was a double — we've not slept in one of those for *years*, and we're both portly... ) and too hard. This is why chain hotels clean up — king-size beds with posh mattresses. Be the facilities never so good, you come to a hotel to *sleep*, as much as anything. If the beds aren't good, that's a big part of it.

The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious and of a very high standard. My fish was cooked to perfection, it was a large portion and I thought I would not be able to finish it all but it was so lovely I could not help myself and enjoyed every mouthful. My Hot Bannoffee Tart was devine and again thoroughly enjoyed it all. The staff were amazing and so welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful at all times and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we required. Our room was lovely and quiet but no view which did not bother us as quiet is more important to us. I liked that when we came back from our event that there was someone at the door to ensure that only guests of the hotel and their friends were allowed to enter. Breakfast was wonderful.and the table service was a very lovely touch. Food was cooked to order and not such cooked on mass. Would definitely book again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Aberdeen.

There was no lift, which would have been helpful for me as I have a back issue and walk with a crutch. However there are only 2 flights of stairs which are wide and large steps which are it easier for me but as I had my husband to help me was fine.

The reception staff were great. We stayed in a suite. It was a good size, with a comfortable bed on a mezzanine floor. Nice seeting area with a a settee and a desk. The cooked breakfast choice was good. I had the full breakfast, and my wife the smoked fish. Both excellent. Decent coffee too. There is a cozy bar, with a welcoming fire. The drink prices are quite reasonable by hotel standards. Idea position to go the the P&J Arena.

The heating was turned down in the bedroom when we arrived, so a bit cold. The mezzanine bed area heated quite quickly, but the lower living area took some time to warm up. The continental breakfast choice was quite limited. No meat or cheese.

Very welcoming staff. Full breakfast was very good., Ate in for dinner one night which was excellent. Might have made another booking for dinner but despite there being a cocktail menu, the lad in the bar was unfamiliar with it and unable to provide any. As we were celebrating my granddaughter's graduation and wanted a special get together, this influenced my decision to book elsewhere. The hotel was warm, exceptionally clean and quiet apart from expected aircraft noise. Ideal for access to P & J Live.

Would have liked a more extensive choice for continental option to include fruit compote and possibly cheese/cold meats. I was in Aberdeen to celebrate my granddaughter's graduation, but despite there being a cocktail menu, the lad in the bar was totally at a loss and unable to produce anything, even Aperol Spritz, so this influenced my decision to book dinner elsewhere for a more special family get-together.

Hotel is nice, lounge bar was great also. Rooms are ok. Nothing special, but fine for just staying a couple of nights

Breakfast isn't value for money. We paid £13 each for a sausage, 2 bacon and a hashbrown. Which were either cold or over cooked. We found out there is a little farmhouse type thing down the road so went there instead. The rooms also have very limited plug sockets and any they do have are on the floor.

Very nice room with sitting room, nice bathroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly, recommended using bus to go into Aberdeen centre. 7 minute walk to P&J arena for event, recommended by staff to walk due to congestion & car park costs Excellent breakfast choice and great to see traditional breakfast fish items available

If you want dinner on a night there is an event on at the arena, make sure you book!

The hotel was very nice and clean. The hotel was in a very peaceful and quiet / rural area. I was attending an event at p @ j The staff were very friendly. The Indian man and the Scottish gut gave me more milk and biscuits.

I have no problems. The water was nice and hot and I was happy that the radiators were on which made the room warm. This is I think this is the best hotels that I have stayed in over 30 years of travelling as all the other hotels were situated in the city centres.

Everything about this hotel was just right. Perfect. From the most helpful reception management and staff to each member of departmental staff, help and assistance was always at hand. The calm & efficient environment complimented by a relaxed vibe. Value for money right on the edge of Aberdeen Airport (a five minutes walk away). One of the friendliest and nicest hotels I've stayed in worldwide. Highly recommended. Perfect 10/10.
