Free coffee machine at reception Very conveniently located at the shopping district

however, car needs to be parked at designated car parks so that hotel can give you a discount coupon for overnight parking (hotel doesn't have free parking). The car parks are maybe within 5minutes walking distance to the hotel. To also note that car can only be driven into the main street before 10am or after 5(?)pm. Don't always follow Google maps if u arrive in the afternoon.

Hotel is located inside a shopping arcade so plenty of restaurants and stores just downstairs. Walking distance to Chinatown. Check-in process was easy and plenty of amenities at the lobby. Room is spacious and comfortable. Wifi is stable and there is an option for a foot massager at extra cost. The coffee machine at the lobby is actually quite good because it actually grinds beans and is available 24 hours. Laundry area is also at the lobby and there are plenty of seats at the lobby. Staff was very helpful in pointing out things to do and places to visit.

The street from the hotel affiliated parking to the hotel entrance is very rough and uneven so if you have roller luggage, be prepared to carry it some distance to avoid damage to the baggage wheels. The hotel does not sell tram or bus passes so make sure to solve public transport needs prior elsewhere.

The room was clean and comfortable, and my tall (6-foot-3) husband fit on the bed just fine. There was a great variety for breakfast every morning, offering both Japanese and Western options. The staff were very helpful, and it was a nice bonus to be able to leave our luggage with them after checkout but before we traveled to our next location. The hotel is also very close to the streetcar station.

The room was quite a bit smaller than we anticipated; it was a little cramped with two people and our luggage. I know this is standard for Japan, but the photos were a little misleading in that regard.

Amazing staff, excellent facilities with a ton of amenities. The location is awesome with easy access to the bus lines and electric trams. If you want easy food just walk right outside into a covered outside mall with a Ton of modern shops and dining places. Want something more localish? Just cross the street and be in the thick of local bars and restaurants.. Fair warning English speaking is hard to come by. Laundry machines use QR code (cashless) and the app you download even shows you how much time is remaining. Free coffee in the lobby. Daily room service (if you want it). Amazing stay one of the best "budget" hotels in Japan.

Nothing. Everything was great.

Massage chair and location for the win! I've been to 25 prefectures in Japan, and Nagasaki is most "tourable" given the abundance of transpo modes with regular times. The tram is the best way to get around for 140 YEN flat rate only! The location of Hotel Forza is downtown, 1min away a tram stop, and 5 mins from Chuo Bus Stop w/c I've used to get to Inasayama area, the beach area, and the airport. As a former tour manager for Collette (premium tours for 100+ years), I've stayed in the best; Westin Miyako, Prince Tokyo, Hotel de Yama, etc. This is not five-star, but while you won't be spoiled with those individually packed "branded" amenities (which are not always necessary/causing wastage or plastic waste), this offers a good bed, spacious room and working desk, big TV (with movie options), and a massage chair w/c you'll need after exploring the hilly Nagasaki culture spots. It's a walk away from Attic Coffee with really good coffee and meal options (a good place to do laptop work, too)! It's right smack Chinatown so there's a lot to see just as you step outside the hotel. It's also very clean and sent is not dingy as it is in some cheap hotels. The staff is also very helpful. And check-in/check-out was hassle-free.

I booked the healing package. I support the eco-friendly savings of not having unnecessary amenities in the room, but with the "healing package," it would have been extra lovely if they had those foot pads that absorb toxins, and/or aroma eye mask, and/or facial treatment mask. These are little things, but these make a difference. And they're cheap and can be bought in Daiso. With the right supplier, I'm sure they can buy in bulk cheaply. If not placed in each room, it could be offered during check-in (or told where they could be availed as complementary offers like their coffee/hot drinks).

I had made this reservation knowing only the location, and was happy that it was so central. Little did I know that the hotel was actually IN the Nagasaki Arcade Mall, which made shopping for souvenirs easy! It's also adjacent to two of the city's tram lines (Blue and Green) so when the time came to visit Chinatown, Glover Garden, and the Peace Park, all we had to do was hop on a tram. The staff were super helpful, offering us directions and advice on how to get around, and even ordering us a taxi for 5AM when our flight's departure time changed suddenly. We had very limited Japanese, but that wasn't an impediment at all.

Actually built into a shopping arcade, but quiet and comfortable. Walk to Chinatown and other sights, tram to A-bomb areas (tram is steps away). Decent breakfast with lots of Japanese and western choices (though mostly Japanese).

Would give it a higher rating, but places in our room were pretty scuffed up and in use of some deep cleaning or fresh paint. Did not affect comfort or general cleanliness, but not quite a 9 or 10. Our Forza standard is the one in Kyoto.

During the Lantern Festival everything is very busy so they recommended we not prepay for breakfast (great tip! Thanks) The parade literally stopped in front of the hotel but you could barely hear the noise so it was great. The room bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The added leg massager was a welcome sight after a day of touring/walking. Check in/out was very easy and they held bags before and after.

Conveniently placed. 7 mins by cab from Nagasaki Station and it's in a large shopping arcade so it's well placed for picking up a coffee, pastries etc. The rooms are atypical of a Japan hotel (in my tourist experience) so compact is the word.

The only slight minor point was a slightly 'foisty' bathroom....I think it was due to having to manually switch on the bathroom extractor fan and obviously guests may easily forget to do it.

Large comfy room with big tv.

Small issue. They kept bringing us new slippers and pairs of pyjamas every day, which we didn’t need, so they were just piling up. Breakfast was relatively quite expensive to buy separately compared to the cost of most meals in Japan. Would be nice to have some international tv channels or ability to cast to tv.
