The location of the apartment - it is right next to Kolding Castle. Only 5-8 minutes walk from the train station. Our apartment was overlooking the lake. Cafe/restaurants are just mins away. We highly recommend Cafe Paraplyen (a charity cafe run by volunteers) - cozy environment; friendly staff and very accommodating eg food not on the menu but they would make it for you if you ask- e.g hard boiled eggs- multiple pieces of rye bread with the most fantastic strawberry jam!). A full breakfast with tea/coffee and juice costs under 50 danish krones.

Maybe the sofa needs updating...

The location was very good, right in the center with hiking opportunities within walking distance. The apartments were large with kitchens, blinds in front of the windows. The receptionists were nice. It was possible to charge an electric car in the parking lot. There were restaurants nearby. The ice cream bar located next to the driveway had very good ice cream.

The stairs up to the apartment were a bit difficult, as we had a couple of elderly people in the tour group. But we could perhaps have informed ourselves of this before arrival, but we did not know this from the description of the place.

Set next to a beautiful pond with walking paths, park, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable stay. The hotel has tons of “extras” in case you forgot something or “extras” that you didn’t even think about wanting or needing during your stay like a BQ grill, games, books, appliances, and so much more! staff were very nice and helpful.

Only one dryer for two washers in the laundry area which bottlenecked the process.

Equipped with everything you need, if something wasnt in the apartment it was available to rent at the reception. Beautifully located by the lake.

The bunk beds not really comfortable. Could really use just a fold out couch instead. The checkout time is weirdly early (10 and not the usual 11) and staying the extra hour is very expensive (the place is not cheap to beging with so this charge felt just mean). Limiting dishwasher tablets to max 2 per week in place meant for a group of people very strange.

The apartment was really nice and cozy, loved the big windows, and the blinds even more for privacy, it had a really great view. The free parking right outside the appartment, was highly appreciated. The location was PERFECT, right next to the lake completly filled with swans, and in the center of Kolding. It was a really quick walk to get to the resturents and cafe's. I would definitely come back again.

Hard to say anything bad, these are minor things, that didn't affect my thoughts of the place. GENERAL: Rooms were great, a little to big though, we were 2 and had 3 bedrooms with 6 beds. which seems a bit overkill. BATHROOM: The shampoos was very generic, without any perfume and almost empty, not something I would expect for such a nice place. BEDROOM The bedroom we slept in had separate beds pulled together instead of a single double bed, it was a little uncomfortable due to the space in the middle.

We just loved our three nights here and wished we had booked for longer. The sun streamed into the windows in the morning and the lakeside views were lovely. The apartment was perfect, comfortable, clean and well equipped, close to the lovely town. The staff were helpful and there was plenty of local information. Thoroughly recommended.

Not a problem for us but the kitchen preparation area is very small .

The setting is lovely. By the lake (although we couldn’t see it from our flats). Felt intimate as only 3 flats in our small building. Great town lovely cafes and restaurants and friendly reception staff. It was the first accommodation on our trip In Denmark that had really comfortable beds!

Best breakfast buffet we’ve had in a long time. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent with restaurants in walking distance.

We would have loved a view of the lake instead of a noisy side road.

We stayed for three nights in a spacious apartment on the top floor of one of several three-storey buildings. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, had all necessary lodging and cooking facilities and a wonderful lake view through the large windows. The staff at the reception, we were in contact with, were very friendly and helpful. Kolding is a wonderful (medium-sized) town with a lot of shops and restaurants (we had a great diner at the restaurant "Johansens" on which we got a 10 % discount as guests of the Kolding Hotel Apartments). It was our second stay in the Kolding Hotel Apartments and hopefully not our last.

My experience with Kolding Hotel Apartments was a very positive one. The Apartments are nice and clean, the Location is excellent.

The Apartments have huge windows and only limited options to create darkness for a better sleep.
